Embers Lodge Bar — Restaurant in Aurora

I sat down at a table 25 minutes ago. No service no acknowledgement no menu and no way am I going to sit here while 8 employees ignore 8 people at the bar, who are mostly trying to pay their check and seem very happy to wander back and forth telling jokes opposite the customers waiting for service. I'm an old guy so typically I would just take my business elsewhere and not give it another thought. Complaining has solved little in my 7 decades on this rock so I just dont bother. We arrived at the Embers at 3:30 and sat at a table for 25 mins. No one acknowledged us. Moved to the bar and the nice bartender said he would be right with us. He never came back. Two staff members in suits passed us never acknowledged us. Multiple servers looked at us and never helped us. Left at 4:05 pm never having been served or acknowledged. Totally unacceptable. We had a fantastic experience at The Embers Lounge! The live music created such a fun and relaxing atmosphere each night. A big shoutout to Jordan K., our waitress she was the sweetest and most attentive! She took care of us all three days we visited and made us feel so welcome.
