YUUUUUUUCK! My girlfriend and I recently visited the night that the Walker Williams Band was playing. This “venue” is nothing more than 1 or 2 storefronts in a strip mall with a bar on the top level (2-3 steps). You can imagine how the music sounds with strip-mall acoustics. On to the food. Yuuuuuuuuck! We ordered a small cheese pizza and a side of garlic bread with two sodas. The pizza came out, and didn’t even cover the metal pie pan that it was served on! There wasn’t any noticeable raised crust on the edge and the pizza, in entirety, was under baked. The sauce had no discernible flavor to it. The entire pizza was covered with cheese even though we asked for “very light cheese” on half of it. The pizza didn’t come out that way and had no flavor to it. It was one of the three worst pies I have ever tried, and I love pizza. As for the “garlic” bread, we were served four pieces of what appeared to be halves of two sandwich rolls cut in half and laid on a warm flat-top. As far as cooking the garlic bread, there appeared to be slight discoloration from the heat of the griddle. No discernible butter flavor OR GARLIC FLAVOR. Yuuuuuuuuck! We also ordered two sodas at $3.50 each. What a deal, especially when my Sprite got low. The attentive waitress was kind enough to refill it with water instead of Sprite. Apparently, it’s one-and-done with expensive sodas. NEVER,...
Read moreI was searching online for a place to have dinner and decided on Heros Pizzeria & Tavern. Upon entering I thought to myself that the set up was pretty cool and I must say while using the mens bathroom I got a good chuckle in there because a little tv is set up inside. I thought to myself, "geez what a nice place to take care of private business." Anyways I forgot to ask the name of the wonderful lady who took care of me, she was super adorable in the manner of personality and instantly was convinced that this was going to be a new home for me to stop by and have some great food, along with great hospitality. I ordered the lasagna with a side of mozzie sticks and two modelos . In a nutshell the lasagna somehow gave me goosebumps and the seasoning stuck out the me the most alongside the nice meat. It was simply so good. I look foward to my next visit. Thank you to the bartender and chef who took care...
Read moreWaste of money. Our family wanted to try a different pizza shop, the website didn't work to check out but then we found we could check out through slicelife. We were optimistic when I pulled in to find the bar was over filled, I checked the order it looked correct so I took it home. The order was two pizzas and a calzone. The calzone was okay, the sauce skimpy. The pizzas were horrible, the crusts were dry, over seasoned with oregano. When the cheese was pulled off it looked like someone had dumped the entire spice jar on the crust. My 9yr old had a single slice and stated she wished she had a time machine to travel back in time to stop us from ordering at this place. We trashed the pizzas and heated some frozen buffalo wings to try and overpower the residual flavor of the oregano. Looks like a hopping bar, but eat before you go. The food was gross and a waste of money, I will not...
