Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Aurora

Samantha the manager has completely ruined my experience and time with papa johns. Papa john is my absolute favorite i order almost every day!! even from different locations! ive shopped here multiple times and even had to stop coming for a while because I ordered my pizza well done and she said they dont do that and that if i wanted it burnt to take it home and cook it .. WELLL i ordered yesterday as I have for within the past few weeks and my pizza was burnt you could taste the char on the bottom I went up there cause I ordered delivery for it to be remade and she made me a new one the exact same way BURNT .. so as i tried to get her attention she kept walking off another employee who wasnt even on the clock had to come ask me whats wrong and i told him i didnt want any trouble just ask her to refund me .. he told me she told him to tell me take my pizza and leave .. she never once came to the register until i was speaking with Bre and as she was she what she could do for me Samantha came and took the whole drawer out the register and made it to where they couldnt even refund me !! SHOUT OUT TO BRE , QUINCY (who i spoke with a few times about this issue), and the guy who helped me yesterday but Samantha needs a consequence period, AS A LOYAL CUSTOMER i deserved better!! as a manager your customers should never feel as if they are not important enough for you to help them .. Ordered pizza for delivery 07-02-2024. Their tracking system showed my pizza was prepared and cooked fairly quickly, but then it just sat in the store for probably 45 mins. The total delivery time was about 1hr 20 mins which seems excessive, being That Domino's seems to deliver in about 30-40 mins. They must be short some drivers? Is it quicker to order Papa Johns through a delivery service Like Door Dash(serious question)? The Driver was friendly. I don't think they should be tipping drivers a percentage of the food. I delivered pizzas when I was in my 20's for about 3 years and we would generally would get tipped between $2-$5 per delivery(at that time $5 was an excellent tip, maybe not in 2024?) and there wasn't a outrageous delivery fee either. Delivering pizzas was literally the 2nd easiest job I ever had. Now they want 20-25% of the total food cost that's ridiculous. I waited tables too and that was one of the most hellish difficult jobs I ever had, so 20% tips are totally understandable.

The food was not bad, I ordered extra sauce and cheese on my pizza so I figured I better select the well done option but I don't believe it was cooked longer. The cookie was airy and dry, instead of dense and moist. The cheese bread was delicious but came with a tiny portion of sauce. Won't be ordering Papa John's again...

We ordered food from this dreadful location without knowing how big of scammers they really are. 1st we ordered through the papajohns app and instead of being charged once, we were charged 3 times for the same order. There was only 1 order confirmation that came to my email. Not to mention we didn't even get the email until 20 minutes later. We called the restaurant explaining we had been charged 3 times for 1 order. They claimed that they could only see 1. But, wait there's more. An hour and a half later the order was marked delivered. We stood outside for 10 minutes. Nobody called or knocked on our door. We contacted this same location about the issue and asked for a refund for the missing delivery. They claimed that they don't email refund confirmations. Which is shady af because I've never heard of that. They claimed that is was only a verbal refund and the money would be returned in 1-2 weeks. Extremely unacceptable considering we were charged over $100 for 1 ($32) order. Basically we will never order from here again. The staff seems extremely shady and unprofessional. If you're thinking about ordering from here, my advice is DON'T EVEN DARE. I wish I could leave a -50 star rating but unfortunately I can't. Just seriously don't eat here or order...
