I can't take Starz off because of flavor or can I. I stopped by Twisters because I was feeding a burrito order the biggest baddest burrito the Twister burrito. This burrito is a massive wrapped beans and beef smothered with green chili curly fries tomatoes and lettuce. In my opinion the burrito Lacks flavor reason being the beans and beef Brown out the garnished cheese sprinkles the lettuce and the tomatoes all together. The Fry's help fill you up faster and Aid in the drowning flavor process as they're not salty you just find yourself with a bunch of potato beef and bean taste with a hint of heat from the green chili. This was disappointing as I paid 14 or $15 for behemoth fairly priced so the disappointment was equal to its price paid. I feel they can construct this burrito to be more flavorful and satisfying like the gargantuan at the sub place or those burgers that are smashed at that burger place. Flavor needs to be king here not quantity so that price is paid over and over for this dish that can feed a family of four alone. Note I went back to get some sour cream the sour cream will bring the rating up from 3 out of 10 to 5 out of 10 in its flavor Boost. The food was served in divine order fresh and hot by smiling attentive courteous servers in a clean facility. I encourage you to stop by this place and get one of their excellent breakfast burritos but stay away from this fairly priced massive dish as it lacks flavor and whomever wrote best in the city is he there a dumb food critic and or the city they're referring to is not currently ranked amongst America's top 10000 cities. I've gotten more flavor from Taco Bell burrito supreme.... otherwise good job I'm creating massive size dishes that will definitely fill you up and or feed a good size family for a fair price. Would revisit that massive...
Read moreThis place looks like a threat to public health. My husband and I went there with a friend after church. At first observation, it looked like a low end fast food restaurant. That was the high point of the experience. I ordered a dish that was highlighted on the menu board. I don't recall the name of the dish, but I do remember that it was really bad. My perception of the food was probably influenced by my mistake of choosing a seat in the eating area that directly faced the kitchen. This gave me a chance to see a guy walk in the front door and head directly to the front counter with his winter coat on, in street clothes and no stop to wash his hands. He immediately began to fiddle with a machine behind the counter and then made himself comfortable by leaning on the counter. Then there was the fellow in the kitchen that was standing over a large container of something and using a long handle to stir the contents. I am not sure exactly what he was doing, but there were at least two occasions when he did something that made a loud noise and caused a large cloud of steam to exit the container. It was bad enough to prompt a female employee to yell at him and declare she had never seen an outcome like he was having before. I really like Mexican food, so it is not often that I find Mexican restaurants that I don't like. This place is an exception and I...
Read moreSpotted this joint from the road and decided to see what they had to offer. I decided to go the drive through route and saw they had a vast selection on their menu. Smothered burritos always sound good so I decided to try that. Their specialty "Twister" is what I got as I went with chicken and green chile. There were three different sizes but, I opted for the regular. My order was quickly processed and I didn't wait too long either. I decided to find a spot to just park and eat seeing as it was still hot. I gotta say that first impression was good. There was fresh lettuce and tomatoes along with their signature touch of curly fries. Everything was smothered with sauce and, a nice healthy dose of melted cheese. I cut right in feeling a quick of spice hit my tongue. It wasn't too spicy, just the right amount of heat to sting. The chicken was lovely as it was tender and juicy. Nice big shredded chunks with a distinct flavor. After that it all goes downhill sadly. The green chili sauce I felt was too runny. Plus there was no flavor to it. So bland that the chicken and veggies stood out more. I ate only half as I was too disappointed with the green chili. Overall good service but, quite a let down for a first and...
