From the moment you step into Boulevard Bar and Grill, it becomes abundantly clear—this is more than just a bar; it's a community. This establishment offers a phenomenal trifecta: exceptional food, top-notch drinks, and unparalleled service.
While the food and beverage menu boasts a wide range of delicious options, the real stars of the show are the people who run the place. They make you feel like part of their family, extending a warm welcome that is a rare find these days. The staff and patrons share a palpable sense of camaraderie that makes every visit a memorable experience.
If you’re someone who appreciates strategy games, then you’re in for a treat. The owners and staff aren’t just savvy businessmen—they’re proficient poker and chess players too! I am a semi-professional poker player and love talking strategy with these guys. Join them for a chess game and it won’t just be the drinks stimulating your mind. Their love for these games emanates throughout the bar, making it a haven for enthusiasts like myself.
Moreover, the business acumen displayed by the management is nothing short of impressive. They know how to create an atmosphere that appeals to a diverse clientele, from the weekday regulars to weekend adventurers, and everyone in between.
Whether you're looking to unwind after a long week, engage in stimulating conversation, or revel in some competitive gaming, Boulevard Bar and Grill offers something for everyone. You'll leave not just as a satisfied customer, but as part of an extended family.
Randy, JC, Matt, Mike, Kaitlyn are awesome. Thanks...
Read moreOnly been a couple times but I you're a barfood junkie. Then this is your place. Yes they serve non bar food too but why waste your time to go to a restaurant that specializes in delicious greasy appetizing foods, but what's the point of going to a restaurant that specializes in greasy deliciousness, and ordering the Mediterranean salmon salad, which by the way I can guarantee you is not a real thing at least not on their menu cuz I just made it up but I do know they have healthier alternatives. As far as atmosphere I would give it a 3 just because it's always full families or older families which is a good thing for people like myself who are chill. Just probably not the best atmosphere for drunk college kids looking for a place to grind hard on some great burgers as you get drunker and drunker and start yelling at the referees on TV. Cuz like I said that kind of behavior will get you booted quick I would imagine. This is a family-oriented bar style restaurant in a nice neighborhood that families with children attend. That's what it was intended for and that's what it is. This is not Hooters or Twin Peaks, or even good old Shoal Creek Saloon who in my opinion does have the best bar food in Austin. But it's literally right next door to DKR and it can get pretty...
Read moreFirst visit to Boulevard Grill was great. I had been looking for a home bar for NASCAR races, and somehow missed this in my searching, but am glad I found it.
The race was on a center screen (UT vs OU on the left screen, so was there to watch but didn't over shadow the race). There is some kind of driver selection before the race starts, I anticipate that makes watching together more fun.
I ordered the beloved Texas sports food, Frito pie, and it was excellent. It's all about ratios, and the chili (homemade) was delicious, the cheese melted and the Fritos still had a crunch to them. The chili master introduced himself to me and shared he made the chili, which I thought was great.
The place is clean, great bar atmosphere without being shady and there are booths, bar tables and a small-ish bar to sit out. I got there right before the start of the race and finding a chair in the front bar was a bit tough, but I asked a group for an unused chair and they absolutely were happy to let me have it.
It's a really good spot. There were some older kids there and it was totally appropriate to have them there. Also plenty of parking.
I highly recommend checking it out -good, well priced food, clean...
