The food I was able to order wasn't terrible, but severely over priced for what it was considering similar fare in the immediate area.

I tried to order latkes with my sandwich but they informed me they have removed the item from the menu permanently (something the other employee there was unaware of) due to some dissatisfaction from their head chef who was notably absent that day. My coworker and I ordered fries with our meals and he surprisingly couldn't get falafel because they were out, but it wasn't until the sandwich was done 27 minutes later he notified me the fries would take another 3 minutes to cook, no problem right? Only to inform me moments later they have no fries and they're (both) waiting for a manager to issue refunds which was a whole separate ordeal.

To add to the confusion one employee asked a customer before me if he'd like capers on his sandwich: if so he'd have to go get the capers.

I'm not sure what was more upsetting: the fact that the two employees who were only even opening at noon are so inexperienced they couldn't gather all the necessary ingredients to operate for the day or that this deli is located inside a grocery store and it's still some kind of complication to not currently have over 5 menu items available

Their kitchen area has insufficient space and lighting, inadequately trained staff, unstocked shelves, over priced menu items which some mind blowing extent is totally unavailable.

I'm not saying this restaurant should close down, from what I understand it is still new, but I would suggest it ceases operations until they have addressed some of...

I often go grocery shopping here at the HEB off of Balcones and MoPac because I often travel near here for working with my clients and it's a pretty cool little area. Friendly people.

And sometimes I stop into this neat little store and order a sandwich or something to go and I love that they are not only kosher, but also super friendly and the service is always great here! Always smiling genuinely, and very helpful and informative. This is my one of my go-to places when I am grocery shopping and need a quick bite or just to pop in and grab a bottle of wine or some kosher bread or snacks, they have a variety of different kosher foods, hot meals and delicious sandwiches and even wines. I highly...

I am in Austin for a few days, so I looked around for kosher restaurants, and this is what I found. I was perusing the menu and asked the young lady about wraps, and she said we have three kinds, but you still have to bentch, so... 😀

The Reubin was AMAZING. Be sure to get lots of napkins! The fries were very good, too - nice and crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside.

Nice selection of wines, though I was surprised not to find any from Israel. Good selection of breads and deli meats.

This is about 30 mins from my hotel, but I might make the trip again...

The Kosher HEB deli is a delicious godsend. Lisa, Frank, and the entire staff are wonderful - thank you! The Chipotle Turkey sandwich and California Wrap are personal favorites, but everything is great. Without this deli, bakery, and grocery selection, it would have been incredibly difficult to keep kosher in Austin for the 5 years I lived here and during visits since.

This is awesome and I’ve never seen it in any other H-E-B. It’s basically a little nook that has some traditional kosher foods like halva, and also has a small kitchen counter where you can order things like latkes. There are four tables where you can sit and eat. The latkes are great, four of them for only three dollars!
