Los Pinos Jalisco is the perfect hidden away local Mexican restaurant to make as the NEW neighborhood hangout! Located at Bull Creek Market (Northeast corner of 360 and 2222), it's in a super convenient location for several neighborhoods as well as a stop while headed home from work if you drive either of those two roads. Food! First words put of my mouth was Yum, and that was just for the roasted salsa (little bite too it) and crispy chips (not greasy). We dined in at 11 am on Saturday...only customers in for about 20 minutes and then the tables began to fill up. I counted a possibility of 40 diners and 6 bar stools if the place was packed ( which it was not). Benny was quick to bring chips and salsa AND stayed to ask for our drink order. We ordered beef fajitas and cheese enchiladas - both were large enough to share if smaller appetites, saving money or just because....rice and beans (choice of refried, black or charro) come with both. Delicious! I chose green verde sauce for the cheese enchiladas. Price is reasonable. Support this local business. Let's make it a favorite for our area.

First time ever I had the taco Birria. Great reason to revisit this new place just opened up next to our neighborhood. Birria had a liberal amount of pulled pieces of tender beef roast with diced tomatoes and white onions topped with cheese inside a corn tortilla, flipped over not rolled. The tortillas appeared toasted on a pan that gave a crispy feel outside while still soft and chewy from inside very nice! Looks like they are also on BeeCaves Rd. The carne Asada was good also once you roll it in the tortilla with the vegies that come it. The home made Tres Leches was a disappointment. It was spoiled probably because it was left over from another day. No explanation or apology for serving this bad food was given! The Birria on the other hand is a definite 5 star. Great treat. Oh the Salsa and chips were really good. Chips fell baked and not greasy at other places. If unlike me you are not used to spicy salsa then you may want not to scoop liberally :-)

Amazing experience! I saw a post on instagram that a new location of Los Pinos Jalisco was opening, and I knew I had to go try it. They did not disappoint. The location is out west, perfect if you are coming back from a long day at Travis lake. They have a patio with nice coverage too. We ordered a beef fajita torta, a machacado and nopales breakfast taco on corn (homemade and delicious), the mini tacos with pastor and beef, and some birria tacos that the owner recommended. The breakfast and birria tacos were to die for. Amazing taste, the birria was better than the one they serve in Guadalajara. Very impressed, definitely coming back for more. So happy we chose this restaurant to try out today!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at my new favorite Mexican restaurant, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The standout aspect of my visit was the outstanding service provided by Benny. He went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.

Benny was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He patiently answered all of my questions and made excellent recommendations. His friendly and professional demeanor made me feel valued as a customer. Benny's attention to detail was truly remarkable, as he anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. He ensured that my water glass was never empty and that my food was served promptly and at the perfect temperature.

Not only was Benny an exceptional server, but his genuine passion for the food and culture of Mexico shone through in his interactions. He took the time to share interesting tidbits about the dishes and their origins, enhancing my overall dining experience. I truly felt like I was being taken care of by a friend rather than just a server.

The food at this Mexican restaurant was simply outstanding. Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and made with the finest ingredients. The menu offered a wide variety of options, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. From the sizzling fajitas to the mouthwatering enchiladas, every bite was a delight.

I cannot recommend this Mexican restaurant enough, and Benny's exceptional service was the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience with outstanding service, this is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be...
