McDonald's — Restaurant in Austin

Today I took my 8 yr old to mcdonalds the service was deplorable and the food lacked honest quality. After waiting at the register for 15+ minutes one of the 4 children at the drive through finally turned to take my order. When I asked to up size the medium coupon on app, the mgr stepped in to further confuse the order and serve a grill order without onions while the receipt clearly stated Xslivd onions. The Frye for my daughter and I were equally mishandled while my fought for up sized fry sat cold on the tray at the counter I was told I needed to wait for the new batch to get my Daughter's sm. Fry. Small was very accurate wherein my daughter complained of the extremely small length of fries where 75% were 1/2 inch and under. Meanwhile I observed the elderly gentleman who waited patiently behind me storm out after being told the shake machine was down. Immediately the other manager who was busy looking busy told the other mgr that the machine was now fixed. Note: no one(including me standing dumbfounded) bothered to let the exiting customer know about the late communication or lack thereof of. Now I'm pretty sure this location has lost two regular patrons. I often go to this location due to the fact at least they speak English, unlike the one in my neighborhood. I hope they don't raise the minimum wage simply for the fact that all 9 people at this location failed in all of their duties to ensure a quality customer experience. Next Sunday I'm pretty sure were going to Wendy's.

I would like to add that rather spending so much on the interior they should invest in a better...

I came here MAY 17TH 2025 - @ 10:24am , I ordered my food at the kiosk ran to the restroom rq it was To GO ! Coming out the restroom my food was on the counter with the 3 drinks - I ordered 3 meals 1 meal without a drink ! I Asked the lady in the picture ( pink shirt ) for a cup holder she looks at me and storms off - proceeding to be very friendly and thanking her she looks at me rolls her eyes and just walks off with an attitude - on the kiosk at McDonald’s you are to put the drinks I selected “ sweet tea “ going to the drinks after being treated like a burden for asking for a drink carrier there were no TEAS so then I proceed to go back up to the front which I knew she was going to have problem and I honestly didn’t want to ! But then again THATS WHAT I PAID FOR … they weren’t busy nothing the girl was just so hateful and rude ! I had sat and waited for 5 minutes for her to come the front mind you she has made eye contact with me numerous times and this is when I decided to snap the picture discreetly because at this point she was doing it PURPOSEFULLY !!! playing with her shirt … making it a crop top ? So, I am not usually the type of person to take the time to write a review but I believe the service I was provided this morning is definitely worthy and appreciated. After a night out and feeling a bit hungover I decided to make my way to McDonald's. I order two breakfast sandwiches and a large orange juice. As I pull up to the first window I grab my purse to take out my credit card and it's no where to be found. At this point,I am panicking and the guy at the window is looking at me waiting for some form of payment. I look at him and say, " I am sorry, but I went out last night and can't find my credit card so can you cancel my order please." As I am about to drive off and still looking for credit card he hands me a receipt which I thought odd. He then says to me, don't worry about it and I am confused he then says, "go ahead and pull forward I got you!" At this point, I realized that he paid for my meal!!! My heart literally melts and I graciously thank him and he says, "no problem. " I pull up and grab my food. As I drive off I can't help, but feel thankful. Makes my heart full that there are still people out in the world who are kind and giving and puts my faith in humanity again.
