Overall I liked this place. Huge playground area for kids, so this is great for families. Very dog friendly. Yes there are a lot of kids running around, but that didn't bother me. They have craft beer, wine on tap, sparkling wine, full coffee bar (yummy coffee!), and seltzers. They will also make mocktails. They do something I've never seen before... They have one unflavored seltzer and then add your choice of flavor to it (their version of cocktails). The flavors are not too sweet at all (mojito was my fave) and I really liked the unflavored seltzer by itself! It tastes like club soda. Good pour on the seltzer. Only one staff member was rude and pretentious... Bearded guy with a hipster hat. Everyone else was lovely. the wine pour was really small for $10 They will let you sample/taste things, but you have to ask. They have a good variety of food trucks. The bbq food truck charges $18 for fatty brisket though.

Update: Since management responded to my review and mentioned an outdoor beer station being added, I'll up to 3 stars and try again after they do open the outdoor annex, at which point I'll update ratings again. The beer and mixed drink choices were large btw. :) Cool venue, so I bumped Meanwhile Brewing from 1 to 2 stars. MEANWHILE (so aptly named), below are pictures of 2 lines to get a beer. Neither moves fast. Really. At a brewery? Is this their 1st rodeo? What's the point of having a venue if you have to wait in line 30 min or more for a beer?!? I'm just gonna bring my wife her beer and she can hang with friends while I simply get in line again and try and tell myself not to be grumpy that my life here will be a circle of order a beer, drink it in line to get the next beer or perhaps letting an advance beer get warm so I can be out of line for a few minutes between trips.

Aw man. I really hate to do this. But it takes a single employee to ruin an entire groups day. I love Meanwhile and their slogan "Good Beer in Good Company". We had a group of 4 married couples, a one year old, and a couple's father. We spent the afternoon from 2:30 - 6:30pm enjoying beers, food, and football. Before we left, one of our friends was very bothered and felt the need to have a word with one of the bartenders who had an attitude when changing the game from Arkansas vs A&M to the UT game 20 minutes early. He spoke to the bartender and explained how he felt earlier but this bartender felt disrespected that my friend expressed that he felt disrespected. The bartender went on the defensive. He blamed management for being responsible for changing the TV's. He blamed others instead of simply apologizing. My friend realized that this guy wasn't going to apologize so he told the bartender "I just wanted you to know that I felt disrespected" and walked away. Here's the reason for the 1 star: this bartender followed us to our table and restarted the confrontation in front of our party. I served tables for 5 years and the only reason you follow someone is to apologize and ask how they can make it right. Basic customer service. But this guy said "I give my best service to everyone here" annnd I couldn't help but think "What about us?" He clearly wasn't giving us his best service. He kept giving excuses. Again, our friend knew the bartender wasn't going to apologize so he put his hand out and said "let's meet in the middle, I understand there's things you can't control"... The bartender responds "We can meet in the middle but I'm not shaking your hand" then storms off. This attitude is not acceptable especially in front of a party. The good beer in good company got spoiled because...

This is a hidden little gem in South East Austin that is worth going to if you’re in the area. They have an incredible selection of both beer and coffee that will keep you as cool or caffeinated as you want to be. The Hazy IPA’s that they brew are their shining stars in my opinion. They have about three and I enjoyed them all from the more fruity to the more hoppy renditions. Their coffee, matcha, and lattes are also all great. I personally did not enjoy any of their ā€œcocktailsā€ and would stay away from those because they aren’t the faithful editions of the cocktails you’re expecting. Trust me on this one. Regardless, that small section of drinks is insignificant and easily forgivable considering the vast and incredible selection that they have of everything else. So, they lose no stars on that one.

This review is already long, and I could go on and on about their outdoors area, family friendly vibe, gigantic television, nice stage, cool events, and how I even found some new artists at one of their free live events. But, I’ll just leave it at this, I highly recommend you check this place out. It’s been nothing but great every time I’ve been and is...

If you enjoy a brewery atmosphere and room to roam around, Meanwhile Brewring is your spot. My husband and I got married in the Austin area a few weeks ago, and we chose Meanwhile Brewing as our Thursday night get together for whoever was in town. Credit to my husband for the awesome find, because we hadn't even been here before. We had no idea how many people would be here and because we weren't buying any rounds of drinks, we didn't need to make a reservation. As mentioned in the other reviews, I think we were all scared about the parking situation at first, but there really is a ton of room inside. I don't drink much beer any more, but I still love breweries. I drank several of the frozen drink "Mango Sticky Rice" and it was delicious. I also ate from the taco truck and was very happy with that as well! We ended up having 30+ people in our group but it was perfect because they were kind of scattered all throughout the brewery. The service was awesome as well. Even when they were closed and some of our group was still loitering and figuring out the next move, they weren't pushy or rude at all. Thanks Meanwhile, for hosting such a great...
