P. Terry's Burger Stand — Restaurant in Austin

Normally I don't post reviews about any fast food establishment but I felt the need to do so about this location. Me and my husband stopped by for a late night snack and some milkshakes. When we arrived the person who was taking orders must have been having a rough night or something. She was comp rude and it almost felt like it was a chore to take our order. Not the worst part. We then proceeded to the drive thru window where we waited for our food. This is where it got ugly. First, the window attendant was not wearing gloves. Touched cash and credit cards. We luckily were wearing gloves and had plenty of sanitizer in the car with us. The employee was (I am assuming) texting at the window, she didn't her hands once the entire 10 minutes we were there. There was a male employee in the kitchen who didn't have his mask on properly, well two others to be exact. After seeing all of this I asked for the manager’s name and contact number so it could be address. The employee rolled here eyes at me, closed the window, took out her phone and went to the kitchen and started pointing and laughing at us with the other employees. I don't think I did anything wrong. My husband cannot afford to get sick anywhere we go. We choose to take out shakes and leave the food behind. I did not get the managers name or number. I actually went inside to dine at this location. I rarely go inside a P. Terry's. I found out that lemonade has free refills when you dine in, which is great cuz I love their lemonade. The restroom was clean and unisex. The service was fast and friendly. I also found out that there is an option to have grilled jalapeños on your sandwich (never heard of this through drive-thru at other locations). The atmosphere was what I'd expect at a P. Terry's. Music was playing, but not so loudly I couldn't think. Staff were cleaning the dining area while we ate, and it showed they do this often seeing as the tables were all wiped down and clean.

I ordered a chicken burger and it was great. The fries were cooked just right. I also tried their banana bread, which is moist and tasty. The moisture surprised me since the banana bread was wheat. I'd definitely recommend dining here by yourself or with...

My boyfriend went and ordered through drive through last night. (July 10th) My boyfriend paid with a $50 dollar bill, and the boy gave him his change back with the 20 between ones and fives. Since it was drive through my boyfriend put the money in his wallet quickly and drove off. This morning he took a look at the change, only to realize that the 20$ bill was a fake. He went back to this location, told them what happened but all that could be offered was a free meal since there was no way for them to verify that he got it from there. PLEASE teach you cashiers/ drive through people how to pay attention to the money they are getting and giving! This boy checked my boyfriends 50 to see if it was a fake and then handed my boyfriend a Fake 20! It was so obviously fake, the printing on it was crooked!!
