I hate to leave bad reviews on businesses, specially those who are deemed “family owned”, but this time I just can’t help

Starting by the fact that I live across the street from the strip mall where this place is located, I always wondered if it was worth give it a try, so I finally did, and to say I got disappointed, it’s an understatement

I ordered a Gyro plate, with a side hummus and falafel, and pita bread

Honestly, they tasted like reheated leftovers, there wasn’t anything fresh about it, I think the only “fresh” thing was the salad, everything else seems like they put it in the microwave to reheat it, the meat, the rice, the falafels, and let’s not talk about their pita bread, which was cold and stale, ironic for a business that claims to prepare everything from scratch

I don’t know if it wasn’t my lucky day or what, but I wasn’t expecting this place to be so bad, the attention was subpar too, not even one time they asked if I needed anything else, and the atmosphere in general is kind of depressive

Based on other reviews, seems like they use to be good back in the day, but I guess they don’t care about quality anymore, and those reviews are at least from 2 years ago, most recent ones are not as favorable, and neither is mine since they don’t seem to care about offering actually fresh food anymore

Going to my black list of non-recommended places...

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon, a "post-COVID take out only" visit. We had a very pleasant visit with the owner, who walked us through many of the items on the menu. Being a victim of "Americanized" Mediterranean food, my ideas about what Med dishes were, what dishes were made of, and how dishes were really served, was way off.

The great conversation led us to order probably more than we needed, but, hey, the leftovers were fantastic too. Lamb and beef gyro meats were seasoned well, balanced, the falafels (vegan) were great, and the baba ghanouj (try spelling that without looking it up!) was incredible. Pitas were fresh, light and delicious. We tried 3 of the 4 sauces on hand, tzatziki (another spelling challenge!), tahini and garlic, all very good.

All the food was made to order and delivered to our car in about 10 minutes. This is a local business guy, working very hard to provide our area with 1st class Med-inspired cuisine. We loved it. Stop by and you will make it a...

I ordered online while I was at work so that I could just pick up the food and get back. It said it would be ready between 20 - 40 minutes, so I showed up in 30. The place itself looks fine, but there wasn't a single person inside, and nobody was at the counter. I felt like I showed up after they'd closed. Eventually, someone came out while talking on the phone. I said I had an online order, and she barely registered that I was there. After about 30 seconds of standing there, she said, "it's ready", and then went to the back.

While I sat there for another 10 minutes wondering what was going on, I could hear someone talking and not much else. Then I heard them put something in the microwave...

A full 45 minutes after placing my order, the food finally came out. By the time I got back to work, it was cold and tough.

I have no idea how this place stays in business, but the people that work there don't seem to care if it does. It's a shame, because it was good a few years ago. Such a...

Go visit Mike and his family! This is my kind of place, where the food is made fresh and the owner knows his customers by name. The dolmas were a nice balance of firm and tangy, and the homemade hummus was amazing - it had a really intriguing nutty flavor. My highest praise goes to the pita they use for the gyros. Other places go cheap and use a thin piece of bread that goes soggy and falls apart when you take a bite. Not PitaLicious - this is a proper gyro. You won't go away hungry.

Got food at their food truck, pretty terrible. Ridiculous waits compared to the number of people who were waiting, and my (very lukewarm/cold) lamb gyro that came with 'fries' came with one fry. When I brought it up, the cook said that's all he had. Can't believe I paid 7$ for this terrible wrap that didn't come as advertised. Hope they never come to UT again.
