Samba Brazilian Cuisine — Restaurant in Austin

The quality of the food can really be captured from all the images posted. This is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had. I really wish I could have tried more of their menu but I was only in Austin for a short time. However, I wasn’t disappointed with my selection. I ordered the #1 aka the Picanha bowl. The rice was cooked to perfection—not too tough or soft and you could see every grain. The beans were fresh, seasoned well and really complimented the meat. If you’re not familiar with Picanha it has a nice beefy flavor and very little fat. I’m usually a ribeye girly but the juiciness of Picanha is unmatched. For dessert I had the passion fruit mousse. I’m usually not a fan of eating seeds but these were very much edible and enjoyable. The only thing I would say is that the tables for eating weren’t as clean as I would have liked them to be but if I’m ever in Austin again I’d love to try the Xtudo burger. This place is over priced and the portions are small. They also forgot my fries, so basically I paid for a $15 hamburger that was small and below average. Also after eating I had a bad after taste in my mouth and my girlfriend agreed to feeling the same. Don’t go here unless you’re blackout drunk and you have no other options.

I had the chicken bowl and wasn't sure to expect out of a street food truck.. but I was so pleasantly surprised! This was some of the best Brazilian food I've ever had. I thought it was a great value for the price. 2 chicken skewers that were very well marinated and seasoned, rice, beans, (and a couple of random fries thrown in for good measure. lol.) The staff was so nice and patient with everyone. Food came out very quickly. I might have to make a stop just for this place the next time...
