The atmosphere is great! Who doesn’t love the beach! But the food stand quality is poor. $20 for a hot dog and a chicken finger and fries. How do you mess up a hot dog?! It was cooked long before I got it because it was dried out and the roll was dry and broke in half because it was so dry! Yuck! The fries were literally cold! Did you ever eat fries like an hour later and they are cold and dried out? That’s what these were. Absolutely yuck and expensive. But at least I know now and I’ll gladly bring a lunch! The Avon pavilion used to be the premier spot to go to and was always packed (both the restaurant and takeout window). Now the place is empty most of the time and I can see why. The food at the takeout window takes minimum 30 minutes to prepare. They recently added a new ordering online software which I thought would make this better but they told me to come back 30 min after I ordered and I still waited over 30 minutes when going back to the window.
