Mother’s Day brunch was a huge disappointment. We called over ten times to make a reservation and they never called us back. When we finally made contact we made a reservation but had never been there before and didn’t know to request the dining room. So they put us in a dark corner of the bar. My husband is an alcoholic and we request to be moved. They moved us to the balcony but it was far away from all the food and atmosphere. We asked if they could put us with everyone else and they said no. Those tables were already reserved.
Atmosphere is part of the appeal when you pay this much for a special occasion. They are trying to get as many people in and out as fast as possible. They don’t care about the experience. I spoke to the manager and she couldn’t care. Didn’t even try to make us feel better. At least pretend! The only saving grace was our server Jeff. He saw I was irritated and made very attempt to turn things around.
You can’t claim to be Nordstrom and act like Walmart. I did not feel like they cared about Mother’s Day and making the day special. They cared about what’s in it for them. Maya Angelou said it best: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We won’t be back....

We chose a simple pasta menu for about 30 people and it was delicious, but the main reason I'm writing a review now is for Jeff, who managed the event for us. We have since gone back to Seasons for date nights and Valentine's Day dinner several times since getting married and have had Jeff as a server and a bartender. He is an incredibly gracious host, very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. When we went out for V Day in 2023 he strongly recommended us both getting a piece of red velvet cake because it was so good (and he was right!).
Fast forward to last night, and my husband and I had an hour to spare before the babysitter had to leave, so we stop at Seasons for a quick drink and lo and behold, Jeff was our bartender. He remembered us almost immediately, and after we joked about his red velvet recommendation, he came back with two pieces of cake in to go boxes with our check! I've been coming here for years with my family for special occasions. Food is always top notch, but the service has been going downhill rapidly. We always have to call waiters over because they never come over to refill water or coffee, they were always on their phones or looking down or doing something else. Then our waiter had the nerve tell us that gratuity was included in our bill and it was 20%. We had to complain that there was no way they were going to get a 20% for gratuity because we had to clean our own plates and call them down for our refills. The food is great but you need to fire your service staff or greatly retrain them and be more attentive to the guests. Enormously disappointed in the new staff.
