I'll start off by saying I love Dutch Bros., I frequent there often, but not this location. I've only been to this location one other time and had no issue. I've used Dutch Bros at my morning coffee routine for about 10 years, I understand they tend to zig zag the dual lanes, and sometimes if it's not super busy and the person taking the order is good at their job, they will keep an eye out and take the orders as who pulled in first. This morning as I pulled in, I started to pull in to the left side... I noticed 2 cars to left and 1 car to the right. The person taking the orders was taking the order of the car on the left. To keep the correct order of cars, I proceeded to the right, assuming my order would be taken after the second car on the left. The person taking the order finished the first car on the left, then proceeded to take the car behind them, not the one that was in front of me. After she took those 2 orders, she took the order in front of me. At this point someone pulled in to the left side. Instead of taking my order next, as I had been sitting there in the right lane for over 5 minutes and there was a car behind me as well that pulled in before the new person on the left, the person taking orders decides to take the person's order who JUST pulled up, instead of taking the orders of the people who were there first, much like I witnessed when I first got there, she changed up and started the zig zag routine which frustrated me and possibly the person behind me who had been there way longer than the person who was just helped. Yes, it's just coffee at the end of the day but it's also principal and shows lack of being considerate your customers, or lack of awareness. This isn't the first time this has happened and most times I shrug it off as I have worked customer service, but also working for customer service, I go above and beyond to make sure I don't upset customers because who wants to deal with a Karen? I love Dutch Bros, and I give kudos to the shift lead working today. She heard me out, made me feel better and handled it well. I know shit happens, they cant please everyone, but I hope they strive to be more mindful than they were today when...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been a long time Dutch girlie and the location at 99th and Van Buren has hands down become my absolute favorite location! From the time it takes to get through the line to the absolutely incredible Broistas that are there it's a place I choose to spend my money. A few Broistas I'd like to highlight are as follows and the reasons why:
Aubree- Aubree is a rare kind of person! She has a heart of gold and always goes that extra mile to not only make me feel important but my daughter, mom and Mickee (our dog) too!
Maya- Maya is actually the first Broista I got the pleasure of meeting and her fantastic attitude and amazing personality is the reason I continued to come back.
Roman- Roman is extra special to me as he took the extra moment on one of his shifts to actually care about me. We had a scare that we were going to lose my dad last year and I didn't get much sleep so of course I had to run by Dutch before the hospital and he knew something wasn't right. He took the time to talk to me, encourage that everything was going to be alright and let me know my Dutch family was here for us. He was right and my dad is doing great!
Coral- Coral is always so fun to talk to and her energy to make peoples day better comes across with every customer! She is a true gem to have there!
Lani- Lani has a fantastic way of making sure you are the only one who has her attention. The line could be 10 cars deep but you'd never know because she takes the time to make you feel valued and special š
Jacob- Jacob is newer to me but man it feels like we have been friends forever! He lights up the whole place and loves to joke around. He speaks so highly of his fellow Broistas as well as the customers that come through. He always has a smile on his face and it is contagious! You can't help but smile when you see him.
Thank you to my incredible Dutch family for always going above and beyond! You guys are the ones who stand out and I can't wait to get to know more of the Broistas here š they deserve all the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was literally the first person in line and ordered only one drink. But when people were ordering after me a line of cars came to the drive thru but some how I was waiting 20+ mins. I had asked the girl at the window how much longer it was going to be (there was drink right next to the window) and she was like we will call you up once youāre drink is ready. I was very nice and said ok sounds good then I see other people getting theyāre drinks before me and I asked her is that my drink right there she said yea no we will call you once itās ready. A guy ends up coming to the window and I ask him how much longer I had been waiting for 20+ mins for one drink and no one was there at the time I arrived. He looked over and gave me the drink that had been sitting at the window for 10 mins. ( the drink I had asked if it was mine) it was all watery I didnāt even want to bother them in making a new one. Iām not a confrontational person either and I felt bad because they had gotten busy after I was waiting for 20 mins. I wish they wouldāve just given me a refund for the ONE...
