I had to delete the previous 5-star review and cumulatively assess their service now. My past experiences were all above standards at this branch, just that sometimes the wait can exceed 10 minutes. I have never done their survey bit decided to give it a try last week. It was long bit I completed it. On it stated we could either choose a bit one get one free breakfast or regular sandwich "in participating locations". So I tried to use it on a spicy Western, and the general manager sindy told me no, and she offered me a small fries. I accepted the offer and got something else. Although she thanked me for taking the survey, I felt really strange afterwards: if they were not a "participating store", she could have informed me about it and I can understand. But giving me a small fries instead of a buy one get one free sandwich is a bit stingy. I will DEFINITELY NOT take my time to complete another survey and end up in this situation again, it's simply a...
Read moreI hit the drive thru this morning. Had to wait an unusually long time to place my order. They usually are addressing me while my window is still rolling down. So having to wait over a minute is unusual. When I was handed my Ice Tea, I asked for sweetener. The girl did not acknowledge my request or respond in any way. Instead she turned to untangle a cord. When she handed me the bag with my sandwich, she muttered "it's in the bag" and promptly departed. Never asking how many I needed. It was not enough. Service today was very poor. When serving the public, you are not allowed a bad day. At least that is how it was when I was working those type of jobs. Next time I will check out Taco Bell.
7/31/24 Edit: I went back today. Service was very slow, but the server was more courteous. Carl's needs to improve their training, but today was better.
The major issue is "fast food" should be fast and cheap. Today's order was neither. I think I am done with fast...
Read moreDrove thru and ordered at this Carl's Jr and the guy working the drive thru refused to take change as a form of payment because he didn't want to count the change. He stated he made a mistake with another customer to whom paid with pennies. With a really irritable tone of voice, he stated that the previous customer gave him like $5 in pennies, which he apparently accepted without counting, only to count the money after giving the customer their order and discover it wasn't the full amount. It's nearly 1am, there isn't any other customers here. What did I do to deserve to have to go elsewhere to buy food simply because this guy is too lazy to count change and wants to prevent himself from making the same mistake twice by denying me service? His last words to me were "you don't have like EBT...
