It's been a long time since I'd experienced a genuine capacity to serve others coming from other people. Everyone behind the counter was courteous and patient. Brooke took my drink order in a way that connected our experience in that moment to be more than just a transaction. Her attention (focus) was 100 percent about what she could do to make my day better. From her greeting to her farewell, I felt as if there was no choice but to feel the very happiness she felt. Not only was this a great experience, but a great demonstration of the hope we all want to have that our younger generation is capable of being more than the percussion of negative conditioning they are forced to endure as a way of life at this time.
You can order coffee basically anywhere but where you find incredible people is up to the universe and where you find yourself within it. It takes incredible courage to be an incredible person....

After finishing the 1st brew coffee, I asked my husband to refill one more coffee for me; then my husband was very frustrated coming back and said the refill was rejected by the same service person of the 1st coffee because “…our policy the refill must be stayed inside the premise???…”. Read more2/6/2025: I have almost always had a positive experience here and know many of the baristas.
However, today I placed a mobile order of blackberry sage refresher (trenta) and went to pick it up in my personal cups. The girl named Nancy said to me in a strange tone: "We don't fill the drink in two cups (I had two 16 oz. cups) because you are getting two drinks for the price of one; but I'll do it this time!" I was shocked, and my natural response was: "Your company don't have reusable containers that big!" Her comment made no sense whatsoever since they don't offer refills for this drink anyway, and splitting it doesn't make me get more overall...
This is a terrible way of serving customers! I will bring this up to their management in the future. And not sure if it is a racial discrimination (I am Asian and she's white)...
