Well well well. Took me a while to try this place and was ready to be uber critical based on some personal reviews. People that have gone to some great places in DTLA, TJ, Ensenada, Mexico City, Etc. To be honest, this is not as great, but I can’t give them less than 5 stars due to the fact they are better than some 4 star places near I reviewed near by.
The food is good. Tried the asada which did have the carbon flavor, the al pastor which was flavorful, buche which was good and lengua which was really good. Salsas were good too. This is a food truck.. the atmosphere is very unpredictable.. Morning is mostly mellow.. lunch time gets packed.. At night it's packed and can get loud from party flyers and people coming back from clubs..they have two tables outside for dining.. Their morning menu is great if you like chilaquiles.. they have a Alaska and condiment bar... Did is made to order..
