I'm 62 years old and disabled. I use a cane. I entered the restaurant wanting to purchase a breakfast sandwich. But first felt the need to use the restroom. I was denied and ignored. When I asked why they simply said that I wasn't allowed to use THEIR restrooms and they refused to take my order. I was immediately confused and didn't understand what was going on so I asked to speak to their manager. And instead of the manager helping me she she wasn't going to allow me to use their restrooms and if I didn't like her response I could leave. I had a problem with it because the other stores weren't open yet and I had to really go. So I said is the restroom out of order? She said no. I asked is it that you have to order something because I'm trying to make an order but your employees walked away. She just walked to the back out of site and called the police. I didn't no she done that and I also called the police because I knew they were being races toward me. All of the employees were Hispanic. Then when the Fairfax County police showed up I found that the manager call to have me removed. I said I called the police too. They both were there on the sene but it didn't matter they asked me to leave and said you're not in trouble but it was a private business and they had the right to ask me to leave. Even if I didn't do anything wrong. So seeing it swing in the Subways restaurants favor. I didn't want to risk injury from the police. I didn't say another thing to anyone else and just left the restaurant 😑 I feel I was profiled that day and highly disrespected. Therefore I made a vow not to ever shop at another Subway restaurant for the rest of my life. I told all my friends about how unprofessional and unfriendly the workers are at that location. Read moreVeryyy disrespectful young girl that works there. I guess she was the manager. I placed a mobile order in advance for two foot long sandwiches, only to walk in and see that they weren’t ready. The manager didn’t acknowledge me, so another lady that was restocking the food and bread stopped to wait on me. I told her that I had a mobile order and showed her my phone, so she looked around, but still started making the sandwiches for me. I get to the register and remind that lady that my order was already paid for, and showed her the app to show her that I ordered from them and the order had not been completed. The manager comes up and tells me that my order was already done. I told her that it wasn’t posted in mobile order, and that no one gave it to me when I mentioned it. Her response to me was “You need to ask!” Whooooooo are you talking to ??! And WHERE is your customer service ?! I told her that I DID mention it to the other lady, but apparently there was a language barrier. The other lady walked off, and the Spanish/Latina manager said, “You’re not getting two More sandwiches!” I NEVER asked for more sandwiches! I wanted SAME sandwiches that were JUST made after you guys FAILED to complete my order time. I was late to work dealing with them, and their service is TERRIBLE! Read moreI ordered a 6-inch tuna sandwich, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The bread was so hard and stale that it felt like I was fighting with it just to take a bite. It was nearly impossible to tear it apart—even my nails couldn’t get through it. It was clear that the bread was either expired or had been sitting out for far too long.
I brought it to the attention of the staff, pointing out that the bread was clearly not fresh. However, without even checking it, the staff member simply insisted that it was fresh. There was no manager available to speak with, and when I asked for the manager’s contact information, they refused to provide it. Instead, they just kept repeating that the bread was fresh and they didn’t not even bother themselves to say “sorry” no real attempt to address the issue.
I stood there for several minutes, hoping someone would at least acknowledge the problem or offer a proper apology, but no one did. I even took a video to document the condition of the sandwich, though unfortunately I can’t upload it here—only photos.
I’m posting the photos to show what I experienced at this Subway location. I truly hope management takes customer concerns more seriously...
