Title: A Flavorful Delight at The Bean Cafe, With Exceptional Service by Kodi Lawrence Rating: ★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars) Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Bean Cafe, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped in, the inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee instantly captivated me. What truly elevated my visit was the exceptional service provided by Kodi Lawrence. Kodi's genuine warmth and attentiveness left a lasting impression. Her extensive knowledge and passion for coffee were evident as she guided me through their impressive menu. She patiently listened to my preferences and recommended the perfect blend that suited my taste buds. The selection at The Bean Cafe is truly remarkable. From classic espresso-based drinks to creative specialty beverages, there is something to satisfy every coffee lover's cravings. The baristas' expertise is undeniable, as each drink was crafted meticulously and delivered with a smile. I had the pleasure of trying their signature mochachino, and it was an absolute revelation. The rich, velvety choclate perfectly complemented the smooth notes of mascarpone and subtle hints of cocoa, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. It was a true testament to the artistry and creativity present in every cup served at The Bean Cafe. Beyond the exquisite coffee, The Bean Cafe also offers a variety of delectable pastries and light bites. The freshly baked croissants, muffins, and sandwiches were delectable and made for a perfect pairing with my coffee of choice. What truly sets The Bean Cafe apart is the exceptional customer service provided by Kodi Lawrence. Her genuine passion for the craft, coupled with her attentiveness and friendly demeanor, made my visit truly memorable. Kodi's attention to detail, from ensuring my cup was never empty to providing insightful recommendations, exhibited a level of professionalism that deserves recognition. The Bean Cafe, paired with Kodi Lawrence's exceptional service, is a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to any coffee lover. The dedication to quality, superb flavors, and warm ambiance make it a truly outstanding establishment. Whether you're seeking a cozy spot to unwind or a place to catch up with friends over a cup of artfully brewed coffee, The Bean Cafe is the ultimate destination. Thank you, Kodi, for going above and beyond to make my visit to The Bean Cafe an extraordinary one.

New Review lowered to 3⭐. Like allot of places thing have changed Soup with half a sandwich is up $2 to about ~$10. (With a plinn drink, no desert plan on about $13-15 plus a person). All food on tray with styrofoam bowls). Soup and Sandwich is smaller in size than last review. I was amazed at sandwich size and soup proportion my last review that made this a good value. This surprised me since price went up in price from mid pandemic when we had shortages. The Sandwich was still made well. I was told my last review, soup was homemade daily. I'm not sure if this is True now. Both wife and I both noticed soup appeared to be microwaved (it was how with cold spots)?? †† Also, don't know if soup was reason but of us got severe cramps about 40 minutes after eating here? These were bad enough we cut out 46year annerversery day short and went home!! The inside is redecorated with a bar counter. Best 2 tables are in rear and feel cramp. I can NOT recommend eating here anymore... UNLESS you are in a mode for a bijou establishment that is a bit overpriced. Honestly if you are just seeking lunch, you are better off at local dinner for a good soup and sandwich. But I understand some prefer atmosphere while visiting this cute and quaint downtown of Bainbridge. I can not longer vouch for food quality, sandwiches are not as large (though tasted ok), not sure if souple is still fresh homemade or reheated from weekly batch. Business is still Family owned and very friendly. I myself am Sad that a 'Christian BUSINESS' attitude is now more Starbucks Style than Family Style but understand this is a business decision not a moral one. Family are very friendly. ............................. Old Review Excellent Coffee and Sandwich Shop. Serves Breakfast in AM and Soup and Sandwiches till 5pm. Prices are moderate with best value with ½sandwich and soup. Sandwiches are large and handmade, all soups are homemade, family recipe and delicious. Good variety of coffee and flavors . All coffees are ground and brewed on order. THIS IS A LOCALLY OWNED, CHRISTIAN ESTABLISHMENT.

What a treat this was. Wife and kiddos came here last year and we'd been wanting to take a day-trip up to Bainbridge so this was our destination lunch-spot. Lee Tennyson (proprietor) was most congenial. This Bulldog was gearing up for the 2017 Bulldog/Mountaineer game later on today and was proudly wearing his colors. Great deli lineup of sandwich options. I had the Muffaletta but it was a hard choice between it, the Reuben and the New Yorker (corned beef instead of the Rueben's pastrami). Spectacular views out the enormous windows - and by the looks of it, live music is no stranger to the interior. In fact, We learned from Lee that he was a musician from way back - having played with the likes of Mike Mills (of R.E.M. fame) way back in the day when he was in Athens in 79/80. The things you learn! The biggest seller here is The Bainbridge - (Italian bread, Prov', Turkey, Ranch, then B-L-T with an onion). As awesome as it sounded, I still ended up with a great Muffaletta. Which is funny - because I'm not a Muffaletta guy. In general, I avoid olive spreads like the plague - but I'd read a few comments about the Muffaletta here and truly, it's very good. As sacrilegious as it is to utter, I'd stack it up against Central Grocery & Deli's muffaletta. There. I said it. Bottom line - for those of you (like us) from TLH that enjoy day trips to the nearby communities - Bainbridge is worth the trip and while you're here - The Bean is worth your time if a classic Deli is your thing. Say hey to Lee.

🌟 A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Bainbridge! 🌟

If you're ever passing through Bainbridge, Georgia—or lucky enough to call it home—The Bean Cafe is an absolute must-visit. Nestled on the charming town square with a view of the historic courthouse, this cozy café is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee—it's a warm hug in the form of a local business.

From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a sense of peace and belonging. The atmosphere is inviting, with thoughtful decor that blends rustic charm and nostalgic touches. Whether you're sipping your drink by the window or catching up with a friend over breakfast, the vibe is always uplifting and serene.

☕ The coffee? Divine. They roast their beans on-site, so every cup is fresh, flavorful, and crafted with care. Favorites like the Mona Lisa iced latte and the white chocolate latte are creamy, rich, and unforgettable1. And if you're a hot chocolate lover—prepare to be amazed. It tastes like a melted candy bar in a mug.

🥐 The food? Comforting and delicious. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are flaky and satisfying, and the lunch options—from the Muffaletta to the turkey bacon provolone—are generously portioned and packed with flavor2. The potato salad is a local favorite, and their homemade muffins and scones add a sweet touch to any visit.

💛 The people? The heart of it all. This family-run café is a beautiful example of community and character. Young helpers take orders with bright smiles and genuine warmth, learning life skills in a nurturing environment. The staff is cheerful, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. You’ll often hear Christian music playing softly in the background, adding to the peaceful ambiance1.

Whether you're grabbing a quick bite, lingering over lunch, or simply soaking in the small-town charm, The Bean Cafe offers an experience that nourishes both body and soul. It's a place where kindness is brewed daily, and every visit leaves you a little more hopeful than when you arrived.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend. This little corner of Bainbridge is a...
