It has been a long time since I’ve gone anywhere to order food which such sweet customer service. As someone else who also works customer service every day, I know some days can be more draining than others, so I try not to make things confusing or take up too much time. But when my boyfriend and I mentioned that it was our first time ordering at a Jersey Mikes, Samantha (I hope I am not misremembering her name, apologies if I do) went out of her way to explain how the menu works, how prepping and making the hot and cold sandwiches are, and giving us recommendations on what to add or how to order.
Even if we were quickly rang up and got our order in, that would have been perfectly fine, but doing little things like that and asking us how we liked the sandwiches after really makes a difference in our dining experience.
Most works I’ve seen at other establishments (other places in general, not just Jersey Mikes), I see most workers easily focus on getting their tasks and may lose the interest or patience to interact with customers more than necessary, and I get it, it can be draining and burn out is REAL. And there’s always the possibility that the workers that I saw today at JM were burnt out too, but even so, they still went out their way to welcome us and make sure that our experience was pleasant the entire time.
TLDR: I really liked everyone who helped us today, especially Samantha. They’re customer service deserves a raise or some sort of...
Read moreI went in right before closing and I also am a difficult customer because I have a tomato allergy. I normally have to ask them to change gloves and knife so I don't get sick. There was a young guy who appeared to be the manager and he let the other employees know to wait to clean because customers are still coming. He also made sure the employees took the precautions to make sure tomatoes didn't contact my food. The employees were not bitter, they did what he said. Even though the employees were tired they pushed through and made sure everyone got served. I understand how difficult it could be to almost be time to go home and still have to clean everything and a bunch of customers come. They did well though and made sure the customers were well taken care of. The sandwich was good though, just like every other Jersey Mikes. This is a new location but they are coming along. I'm excited to see...
Read moreI have found my new sub shop favorite! I know that Jersey Mike's has been around for a while now, but I never tried it until recently. If anybody remembers Brinks Deli on Ming Avenue, they may understand my obsession with their sandwiches. So when they went out of business, I was heartbroken. I've tried a few other sandwich shops in town, but none of them would compare.......until now! Jersey Mike's sandwiches are so similar to Brinks, that they have definitely won my heart. Everything is fresh...the bread, the meats, the cheese, the produce. It's all amazing! The only thing I'm upset with is that I didn't find them sooner. Thank you Jersey Mike's for restoring my faith in sandwiches💜
PS- the service was top-notch and the restaurant was extremely clean. They have hit the mark in...
