Mariscos Uruapan — Restaurant in Bakersfield

STAY AWAY!!! Waited 10 mins for watery drinks, 25 mins for the waiter to take our order (we had to ask for him to take our order while he was bussing tables around us) almost an hour and we still have yet to receive chips and salsa. It's father's day and my father was not happy about waiting.

Over an hour wait and Still no food. Our "waiter" is just bussing tables. We were told there would be at least 10 mins for cold food and we haven't even been set that $50 for drinks

OH ANF WHEN WE FINALLY WALKED OUT OUR WAITER WAZ ASKED WHY WE NEVWR RECEIVED APPETIZERS AND HE SAId HE DIDN'T KNOW AND NEVER...

Ive come here several times. Most often early saturday afternoons for mariscos. The place is dark, no natural light. It is big so the wait shouldn't be long if you're there before 9pm on the weekends. There is Live music on the weekends after 9pm; food will be harder to order then. Service is not good at any time whether on a slow or busy night LOL. I hope you're a patient person. If you're not, come when you have a free afternoon and go early. I will say that The mariscos are worth it. My absolute favorite tostada is the tostada Uruapan- perfect spicy....

First time visiting and it was open seating. We only saw our waitress three times, once when she left our menus and when she brought our food and brought our second order of drinks. Never saw her again. Was never able to get anyone to order more food or drinks. Sadly we left without leaving a tip as we were still thirsty and didn't know if she'd even return. We were a group of 5 girls and felt invisible to staff and noticed only the tables with men were...
