I’m from out of town and picked up two dishes for some “real food” on a road trip. This was during a time with no indoor or outdoor dining allowed. Unfortunately both our dishes were fine but not good.

The service was good and the meals were ready a few minutes before the quoted time. There were markers for social distancing and everyone was adhering to them.

My wife’s angel hair with tomatoes, basil, and garlic was fine. We appreciated that the dish was huge and not overly complicated. She wished there was more basil flavor.

Mine was spaghetti puttanesca. The portions of spaghetti and tomato sauce were generous. Mine may have been made wrong as I had tomato sauce on my spaghetti with puttanesca on the side.

The puttanesca seemed to be a variation of the neapolitan style with red chili flakes. The combination of chili in the tomato sauce and also the puttanesca was strong for me, as I wasn’t expecting spicy. It was a bit hotter than a healthy portion of sriracha.

With the extra spice and seemingly extra tomato sauce, I was not able to taste the puttanesca. It appeared not to have olives or capers but did have a green pepper of some sort.

Rosas has some really good Italian cuisine. My boyfriend and I had a date night and got the food to go. Someone else also had a food order to go and had the same name as my boyfriend but the staff caught it just in time so that each party got the right food they ordered. I appreciated the attention to detail because we wouldn't have been happy to have gotten the wrong food. We got spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs, salad, bread and a slice of tiramisu to share for dessert. It was Simply Delicious and it was nice to get some Italian food that was not from a chain restaurant like the Olive Garden witch I do like their food but Rosas just really was great and their spaghetti and meatballs blows The Olive Garden's out of the water. We had leftovers because it's so much food so we got a Bonus meal out of it. It can get very busy here at peak hours and on weekends. We made a pickup order on Saturday night and the parking lot was full to the brim so keep that in mind if you're ordering at a busy time as parking was impossible to find without trying to idle to the side in the small parking lot and if you're dining and I needed a place to park you might find that same problem but it's worth it.
