I come here to eat often during my breaks from work, or when I have time between my classes. Service is okay, not the best, but also not the worst. There has only been one employee that has annoyed me. There was an instance where I dropped one of my tacos, and one of the employees wanted to make me another one, but I said it was still edible so it was fine, that was a kind gesture from an employee though. And this might sound rude or heartless, but if you're going to dine here be prepared to be approached by occasional "homeless" person often. They are the rather rude homeless people that won't leave you alone until you give them something, whether it be a couple of cents, or a bite of your burrito. Today, I was approached by one who wanted me to give him change, I told him I use a debit card, and then he proceeded to ask for an item on my plate, which I eventually gave him, and he simply walked off, no thank you, or even a gesture of gratitude. Now, I'm fine with that. This whole area in Bakersfield is notorious for that. But, when you're trying to eat out to get away from people, it can get really annoying. I believe only dining customers should be allowed inside, after all we are paying customers, and should have the right to be left alone if pleased. Granted, this has nothing to do with the employees, staff, or food. Food is usually always accurate, but the drive thru gets clogged often, making it hard even for the dining customer to park in the cramped parking space. Overall, I like the Taco Bell on Oswell a little better for the fact that it is usually emptier, but the one on Vernon is the one...
Read more08/29/24 We came in since my mom was wanting taco bell. Personally, I prefer Dell Taco. So we came in and ordered, and you can no longer order at the counter. We ordered our food 3 taco Supremes for myself, and momma got a crunch wrap combo. It was slow getting our order. You can no longer get your own drink because of the homeless problem that is in this area. They were out of napkins. The tacos were sloppily made, and the crunch wrap was overcooked. Momma could not finish it because of this. I was done with this place when Lilian was coming out from behind the counter to leave, when an elderly gentleman came in and wanted to order. She let him know it's all done on the kiosk. He informed her that he did not know how to use them. She put her drink down, asked him what he wanted, and ordered it on the kiosk with him there. He told her he was paying with cash, and she took his money and processed his order. Kuddos to you, Lillian! That is what customer service is all about.
Well, they redeemed themselves. Thought this was going to be a bad review. The food was good and fresh except their nacho fries were cold. Drinks were prinksed...
Read moreI returned a burrito that I purchased two days before because I live far enough away and my wife is ill that I could not get back to that same Taco Bell. I explained that the new chicken burrito that I had ordered had a lot of gristle in it and I would like to return it and have another one in its place. I was told that that was not possible and that the only way that that could happen is if I was actually in the store and ate it there and didn't like it at that time. When I asked for corporates number the manager got angry at me and snapped at me and turned around and walked away from me. They didn't want to hear any explanation as to why I couldn't come back to the store right away they just told me that I was SOL. I will not be back to that particular Taco Bell. That doesn't mean to say that I don't like Taco Bell just not the store in Lake Isabella. I've returned items that other Taco bells with no problem but this one has a policy that you must eat it on the premises and return it at that time to get any kind of...
