Crab City Seafood — Restaurant in Baltimore

Crab was delish...based on reviews, I called ahead, and when I got there and paid, I upon getting my receipt, instantly a guy came from the back with a big bag of steamy crabs calling out my name. This is a carryout only place. They give paper, but byo hammer if you don't know how the B'more "by hand" crab opening technique. I'm more of a DC person and had a bad crab experience in Catonsville where they used a knockoff seasoning, so I was a little nervous...but no need for that. Only real deal Old Bay here. Everything tasted fresh, neighborhood is rough and tumble but fine. There's a parking lot and the establishment is nice and pristine on the inside. I was and still am heated. After reading such good reviews, I decided to go and get crabs (after the heavy rain and flooding). I wanted females, but we're told they only had males. Since thats all they had that is what I ordered. $60 thrown away!!! 😠 The crabs were small, very light or should I say hollow, empty, a shell.

I must have went on the wrong day at the wrong time, but never again! Then as I was leaving I heard the lady tell another customer who was coming in that she did have females. Reading the reviews i was a concerned about coming here but since i wasnt paying i figured i give them a try anyway. I ordered over the phone and was told it would be 25 mins. When i got there i was greeted by a pleasant cashier who confured my order. I was early so i still had to wait. Wjen i got my crabs i checked them to make sure they were correct and it was. They were really hot unlike some other places ive been to. The crab also had this pleasant smell as well, smelled like cinnamon.
