Miss Carters Kitchen — Restaurant in Baltimore

I always hear people talk about Ms.Carters and we all know word of mouth is the best advertisement. I’ll try this place on three different occasions trying to figure out what all the rave was about and each time I have been disappointed. After this last time I now know that this place just isn’t for me and I will never try it again. I ordered using door Dash asking for my two sides to be greens and yams however, when my order arrived to me my sides were macaroni and cheese and hard rice. I don’t like macaroni and cheese in the rice was hard I called to the store about the situation And was told they don’t do greens on Saturdays only Friday and Sunday so for the life of me I’m not sure why greens was an option on the website. I also asked why I wasn’t notified of this and was told they try to call me but didn’t get an answer that was a lie. No miss call no voice message nothing. I ordered a catfish meal and my mom ordered the 4 piece fried wing meal. The mac n cheese was definitely a taste you can attribute to being their own. The garlic string beans were okay. The catfish was a little salty. You get a good amount of food. They were out of a few sides and it was only 4pm. The strawberry crunch cake. Oh my goodness. Order 2 or 3 because you won't be satisfied with just one. The peach and watermelon lemonade mix was tasty. It's best to call ahead of time. I don't care what the circumstances are never again. I always treat myself to a meal the Saturday before mother's because Sunday I'm busy taking care of my mother and grandmother's. I always get crab cakes normally from G&M. They close early because of the current pandemic so I figured why not try this place. First my order is wrong. Second the crab cakes are not seasoned at all. I despise sweet potatoes and they are on everything. The smell and sight them upset my stomach and it's literally on everything.
