Jimmy's Famous Meals — Restaurant in Baltimore

I really hate to leave a 2-star review for Jimmys but I feel its warranted.

Positives: Large selection available, delivery is always on time and no issues. If you just want convenient meals and aren't too concerned about health/fitness, this may be a good option.

Mixed: Customer service I would say is mixed to positive. Can take a long time to get a response though most inquires with their chat were answered except for one...

Cons: To my knowledge, Jimmys does not offer 1 prepped meal that does not contain trans fat. And I'm not talking 1g of trans fat either but receiving what I thought were 'healthy' meals with upwards of 10g of trans fat. I tried to give them a chance and thought I'll just go with their 'paleo' options - nope, that has trans fat in it too which essentially means its not technically 'paleo'. I ordered Jimmys to improve my health but I actually gained weight eating their meals. As a last chance, I did reach out to their chat support if there were any options without transfat and this was the one inquiry I had that was ignored.

Hence the low rating, this is somewhat misleading and false advertising in my opinion. They're obviously hip to health conscious individuals - they were promoting themselves my local gym and their promotions often highlights 'natural', 'wild caught seafood' etc. So its really unfortunate that they would have genuinely good options but are likely cooking it in cheap, refined...

Meals are delicious and filling. Love the menu changes each week.

However, last week my meals were not delivered but I paid for them. After reaching out to support they said they weren’t sure why that happened and she was working with the managers to refund me and deliver the meals to my home and she would be in touch by the end of the day. I never heard back… I reached back out and got no response. It was extremely inconvenient since I did not plan/shop for lunches in advance.

Another request I had was that meals did not have seafood for the female tone meals only. I have done this in the past but for some reason sometimes this request was accommodated and other times it was not.

Lastly, I was charged $5 each order for a refundable bag deposit. I have returned the bags, but have not been refunded the $5 per order deposit. (About $35 worth).

With all the issues experienced sadly we have cancelled our subscription. We will be ordering from mighty meals instead and hope for...

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. The lie to their customers because their workers are undisciplined and unaccountable, they do not follow through on their services. The people who work at carry out are chicken heads who apparently don’t know anything regarding meal prep, they merely just give you the order. The managers are very ignorant, lazy and unproductive. I recommend you not use their meal service, if your an athlete, person looking to get fit or an individual that just wants to rely on service that can help you build a consistent routine, THIS IS A TERRIBLE OPTION. When you call the phone on their website no one picks up and the extension on the Jimmy Famous Seafood’s number directs you to the same number that no one picks up. I hope whoever is the manager of Jimmy Famous Meals gets fired immediately. Same for the manager at Jimmy Famous Seafood’s carry out because apparently she has a direct contact to the manager, but I cannot speak to him. JIMMY FAMOUS MEALS...
