Charm City Electric really went above and beyond and did a wonderful job rewiring and swapping out all the old light switches, labeling the fuse box and getting everything updated to code. They were communicative, friendly, fast and reasonably priced which made a potentially stressful situation manageable.

We just moved to Baltimore and have been having lots of issues with the house we just bought. It's an older house and nothing so far has been up to code. The fuse box wasn't even labelled. I called Charm City and they came out quick to assess the situation and scheduled the work promptly.

I was very impressed how they took the time to walk me through options of how to rewire to certain outlets. The light switches looked as old as the house and it took cutting into the walls to do this correctly but they wanted to do as little as damage as possible.

They could have very easily gone the quicker route and cut out more of the wall but they got creative and figured out less evasive fixes. They also could have said they had to charge me more for adding more time to the job but they didn't. There were no surprises with the final bill.

They spent two days here fixing everything and came back for a third day to be here when the inspector came to make sure everything was to code. They took great care of the house and they obviously love their jobs and take pride in their work.

As someone new to the city I really appreciate everything they did. I will definitely be calling Charm City again and recommending them...

I had an emergency today of all days, my power had been out since 8 pm 12/23, I went all night without heat and power and BG&E was no help. I googled several electricians that “supposedly” provide emergency services and each company I called was a disappointment. I called Charm City Electric at I think at 6:30/7 am and Charm City Electric said they would send someone over by 9 am, I couldn't believe it! Other Electricians I called were rude and dismissive and couldn’t be bothered. Charm City Electric was so willing to help, they sent an electrician by the name of Joe over he was there on time, I work in health care, and was coming off an overnight shift and Joe beat me to my residence. Joe has great critical thinking skills, Joe looked at my old-timey fuse box and fixed the problem within minutes!! Charm City Electric truly lives up to every description on its website, especially with the old houses in West Baltimore many of the landlords have not updated the old fuse boxes in these houses, and Joe knew exactly what to do!
