SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE: WILL NOT BE BACK

I preordered and my food was made when I got there bc she “thought I wasn’t coming”. My food was also made, given to someone else, exchanged and it was still INCORRECT bc now “we’re out of Mac & cheese” proceeds to offer me what’s leftover of other sides .

I declined and asked for a PARTIAL refund due to the following:

It was NOT disclosed to me prior to me paying my money that what I ordered was not available, and being replaced with anything leftover.

It was NOT disclosed to me when I placed my over over the phone that the establishment is a “plate is made at pick up”. As in when I arrive AND pay then my plate is made. A SCAM! IVE ALREADY PAID, MY FOOD IS INCORRECT AND THE ESTABLISHMENT DOESNT DO REFUNDS. Furthermore, What is the point of being able to call in an order just for me to have to wait for my plate to be made when I arrive?!

It is extremely frustrating to have called ahead that way not to even chance what I ordered being out and/or being given to someone...

Reluctantly, leaving this review, I have been patronized on this place for quite a few years now I have never had a problem with them, their food or their service. But I am quite annoyed when people go up on their price, but go down in their quality or their quantity. While an increase in price is worn to at times you do not substitute that for the quality or the quantity of your product or service. On my recent visit, I noticed that the prices went up without an option to have either a small or a large portion. Also, the cabbage normally has carrots and other veggies in there it was just mushy cabbage. I also noticed that instead of chicken breast, they are now using chicken thighs, which I despise. That changes the whole taste of the dish, I do not like chicken thighs. I do not like dark meat. I do not like them Sam I am. 🤪😂 sorry had to throw that in there felt like the cat in the hat for a minute. Also, I would greatly appreciate it if they would update those ceilings in the walk-in area because I was kinda grossed out 🫣 other than that the food was delicious. It just lacked the quality that I had become...

I can't believe I wasted $70 on this 2x curry chicken and curry goat! The whole thing was just bones, barely any meat. I mean everyone’s tray was the same. I felt like we were on a scavenger hunt for meat that wasn’t there. I’m so disappointed because I used to really enjoy their food. But now their a total rip-off! This place has seriously fallen off. The macaroni was dry with no cheese in the noodles, just some burnt-ass top layer of some low-quality cheese. Plus, goat meat isn’t that sought after for them to be so stingy with the meat. Their crab house used to be ok as well. They must get the last pick for crabs versus everybody else in the city because their crabs and the quality of the seafood is bullshit. They don’t clean their shrimp and over-season them, the crabs be full of water with no meat as if they were already picked—ha, imagine that—or have hella seasoning on but smell like ammonia on the inside. Total scam. I will never go back, and I strongly urge everyone else to avoid wasting their money here. Be aware, folks—this establishment is not worth it! Definitely went downhill in the last few...
