Roma Little Italy — Restaurant in Baltimore

Diners beware. In a time when it is incredibly important to support local businesses, I’m sad to say that this neighborhood establishment has now defrauded me and my family for the second (and final) time. Twice now, we have ordered delivery from this local spot. The first order was incomplete (missing a large pizza). Upon calling the next day, I was told I would get a call back with a refund for the missing item. This never happened. Being in the industry myself, I let this slide as mistakes are bound to happen, especially with the year we restaurateurs have been having. Last night, we placed a $50 delivery order well within their posted business hours. While my partner was charged for the order, it never arrived. Upon calling Bella Roma today, I was again told I would get a call back. As I began to explain the situation further, I was disconnected. I called back about 15 minutes later and was hung up on mid-sentence. I called for a third time and asked to speak to the manager on duty, I suppose that is who I was speaking to as he raised his voice to me asking “what do you want?” I explained the full situation (including the previous incident) and the gentleman implied that I was lying and hung up on me for a third time. I’ve already taken up the issue with the BBB and I’ve spoken to my contact at Restaurant Association of Maryland to see if there is any way to collect out refunds. Such a...

Dropped by on a weekday afternoon around 3 PM. The place is very small, as you'd expect for a local carry-out, and it wasn't busy at all. The staff members were pleasant.

To be fair, there were a couple of bright spots. The Western Fries (wedges) were surprisingly good—well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The rest of the food was a significant letdown. Both the wings and the fish had a heavy, greasy quality that suggested the fryer oil might have been old, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The burger sliders were the worst of the bunch; the patties had a processed, rubbery texture and lacked any real flavor. The overall impression of the space also left something to be desired in the cleanliness department.

Ultimately, this was a disappointing experience. A local restaurant should be an asset to the community it serves, and that means holding itself to a high standard. Based on the food quality, it doesn't feel like that's a priority here. I would only consider stopping by again if I had absolutely no other...

I took my wife & daughter there on a Saturday to get dinner. #1 they totally messed my sandwich up. Then the guy stood over a trash can and with his ungloved hand scrapped the so called fixings off my sandwich. Had another guy watching me to see if I could see him. As soon as I saw what was going on and started to complain, the guy watching me said something in their native tongue and the guy stepped out of view. #2 He tried to give back the same sandwich he held over a garbage can barely handed. And got an attitude when I refused.
