I’m just leaving this place and I’m not sure what day of the week I have to go here to get the service that the other reviews are speaking of but it is NOT on a Tuesday! There seems to be one person working, and she is a visibly elderly woman. I ordered my food to be picked up at 12:15 today (5/27) and when I arrived, she did not know of any order placed online and scoffed when I said I ordered online. Then I had to show her my order THEN it was made. I also ordered chicken, with fried rice and plantain. When I got my order there were no plantains in the tray. I had to wait 10 minutes for her to come back to the front to let her know about the missing item. To which she responded very aggressively that she told me she didn’t have plantains. I asked for a refund for the plantains that I paid for and was ignored. So rude, so nasty! And she treated the other customers poorly as well. It seems that she does not know how to work any of the tech to accept online orders and needs to be trained OR just have someone who is willing to learn present while she’s there. There needs to be at least one person cooking in the back and one person in the front taking orders because if not, you’ll have to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come to the front to check if new customers have arrived. The worst African food I have ever tried. Drove all the way to Baltimore for some eguisi soup. The place that I wanted to come to was closed for some reason, seen this was down the street and came here. Horrible idea. First of all, the soup was horrible and had some type of fishy taste to it. It was supposed to be $8 but I was charged over $20 after he asked me did I want meat in it without clarifying the extra charge. I was also unknowingly charged an extra $8 for rice that I thought I was substituting for the fufu. I was going by the menu and it’s prices. Got the curry goat platter and the eguisi soup. The menu was misleading and the person taking the order was not at all clear. The curry was supposed to come with plantains. I did not receive them. When I called and asked why, I was told that I have to request it, but it was supposed to come with the platter? The meat pie that I ordered last minute should have stayed there too. It tasted like the meat in it was going bad. Wasted $50 in food and gas money...

I've been there several times and haven't had the best service but I suppose I was a glutton for punishment. My last visit however was my last!!! I ordered online hoping to be in and out, but when I arrived almost an hour after I placed the order it wasn't ready, and ended up having to wait almost 20 minutes for my order. What's the use of having an online ordering option if you won't respect a person's time and have their items ready when they arrive?? Then the amount of food you're given for thr price it ridiculous. I was given 1 moi moi in a container and told it was two in there. Definitely wasn't $14 worth of moi moi in the container. When I inquired about this, the young man questioned if this was my first time there (when he knew better), as if that would get me to forget them jipping me out of purchased products. And the thing is the food isnt that great for them to act as if they can afford to treat customers any kind of way....
