If I could give the Shoe City 0 stars, I would. I bought some shoes earlier in the day. I was welcomed by employees but they were not the friendliest of the bunch. The cashier attempted to be pleasant. The sections were poorly labeled! I was in the "women's" section but every shoe that I wanted this one employee told me they were kid shoes. They need to take them out of that section in that case.... I ended up buying some huaraches in a women's 11. I got home and the shoe was cut very small so I wanted to exchange them. I couldn't find my receipt so I called the store. The person who answered the phone did help me with my exchange question that I had but once I arrived back there, it got worse. There was a total of 4 employees in the store including the one on register. Nobody walked up to me to ask if I needed help with anything or what the issue was so I took it upon myself to figure it out on my own. Once they seen me crossing back and forth between women's shoes and men's shoes they finally asked me what size was I looking for across the room shouting. I told them I needed a 10 1/2 in women's. They began laughing in speaking quietly to themselves. I never turned my back but I could feel they were talking about me. It got quiet and one of them said " oh you can look in the men's sections". I felt offended at this point. I didn't the say anything and just proceeded to the men's section. Also their personal conversations included racial slurs that could be heard throughout the store. Although I was the only customer there I wasn't expecting the royal treatment but at least some decency and respect while making a purchase. I will never ever go back to this shoe city if my life...

I often patronize Think Dollar and the Chicken and Fish spot in this shopping center. Think Dollar has EVERYTHING. I mean from the ankle socks for your toddler to the kitchen accessories to the wash cloths and wax needed for your home or car. Screws, locks, wigs, hair, cleaning supplies, party supplies, balloons, earrings, & beauty supplies plus more. The owner always speaks as you enter and the staff is polite. Prices are fair and competitive. I enjoy shopping here. The Chicken and Fish spot keeps a line inside. They sell breakfast sandwiches & platters as well as chicken and fish items. The chicken is good ,fried just right. Now the fish on the other hand is a lot suspect. The signs say "lake trout" but maybe unbeknownst to the owner ( I very much doubt it, though) there isn't a lake trout in the house. The lake trout is a sham. I'm not sure which fish it is exactly but IT IS NOT lake trout or even whiting. The meat inside the fish is too thick and not flaky at all. When called out on it they still pretended like it was lake trout. Lake trout must have gone astronomically high within the last 3-4 yrs because a lot of places that used to sell lake trout is passing off other fish for lake trout . To this I say, " Buyer Beware". I even had an issue with this at NE market where a vendor at a fish stall tried to pass off another type of fish as lake trout until I told him that either he didn't know his fish or he was lying. He decided to move the little sign that said lake trout & said someone made a mistake when putting it there. Sure did. It probably was put back out as soon as I left the counter. Smh. We get what we get when we don't question...

Looks great with the facelift the advance auto parts staff is the worst i have experienced in the Baltimore area..went into store to buy battery 6 employees 1 of them was with a customer at his counter 3 of them walk by as i am waiting ..no help offered. Once the guy was done with his customer he promptly went to shelf and got the battery i wanted to purchase and completed the sale, i asked if he could carry to car for me because i recently had back surgery and he said ok no problem told the 3 that previously ignored me that he was stepping out which no one responded they just looked ..while on the way to my vehicle another guy comes outside to say to the guy that was helping me "hey you cant just leave out" guess it was manager.. I was very confused as all the rest of employees are playing and joking with each other and you are repremanding the 1 guy that os doing his job 110% # WORST COWORKERS EVER #IGNORANT #...
