World Wide Wings & Pizza — Restaurant in Baltimore

I have enjoyed the food in the past @World Wide Wings...the veggie deluxe pizza we ordered yesterday was Delicious! The service NOT 😣. The cooks on the line including the 🍕 maker worked methodically as I stood there at he window waiting for quite some time for my order to be taken ...baerely spoke. The drivers who delivered food were respectful as they moved back and forth through the doors to cover & deliver the orders in the near by sections of town on a rainy night in Baltimore. Sadly, the "manager* ( I believe) who stood at the window on the phone when I first entered was less than desireable. He seemed to be taking personal calls, head hunched down, his hand covering the mouth piece of the phone...as I stood there waiting for perhaps: " I'll be right with you!" ...he looked at me periodically instead as if I was a person who had no reason to be there in his space. Another young man came to the window and said, " I can take your order." *I responded to him by looking over to the same guy still on the phone when I first approached the window to order a pizza & stood there for quite a long time ... HE was NOW speaking as though he was actually "taking" an order over the phone... So, I answer the young man with this: "SO, you're going to be taking my order NOT him?" That young man answered: "yes".

I placed my order and observerd tasty food being prepared in a no talk, head down into the work atmosphere... the 1st guy on the phone at the window moved over to the grill began to cook, turned to go over to each "worker" whose head was down deep into the work, preparing sandwiches, wrapping sandwiches, clearing the grill for the next order, managing in a small small space the orders which were "rhythmically" being completed as HE stood and watched standing beside each of them as they worked before HE moved on to the next worker/worker's task. As my daughter enjoyed the vegetable deluxe pizza...a treat for us...i thought back to what I'd observed...just wished the 🍕 prep guy had used a spoon to scoop out the olives from the Large jars that were kept under the counter instead of HIS HANDS 😮😮😮 and that I had NOT had the experience of waiting for so long to just place my order. Will I return......

Despite the policy of customers having to walk to their cars after sunset for delivery, you went above and beyond for my 70-year-old mother, who is unable to navigate the driveway. When she informed you of her situation, you promptly accommodated her request by delivering the order directly to our door. We are truly grateful for your thoughtful and considerate service.

Turning to the food, even though we are just a four-minute drive from the store, we understand the challenges that delivery drivers face. The dishes arrived at a good temperature—not piping hot, but certainly enjoyable. We savored French fries and cheesesteak subs, and though our request for toasted bread was overlooked, the quality of the bread itself was excellent.

In summary, our experience with both the service and the food from World Wide Wings & Pizza was highly satisfying. We extend our gratitude to you and the entire team for a job well done. While our only suggestion is a consideration for lowering the delivery fee, given our close proximity (only a mile away), it is a minor concern in light of the overall...

I really wanted to like this place.. I tried to give it a second change and the second shot was worse than the first! The first time I ordered Honey BBQ wings and they sent me Honey Mustard. The second time a co-worker was looking out for me, thought the order was wrong and it got sent back.. well then they re-delivered me cold food.. Not only was it cold but it was uncooked! They wings were bright red on the inside and the celery was limp and inedible. I ended up throwing it out and going hungry until I left work!

Aside from the food being horrible the service is even worse! The delivery drivers dont get out the car, at least the second one was apologetic about the situation while the first one had just as bad of an attitude as the people that answer their phones! After twice with horrible service and food I will not be giving this place a third chance! I value my money and will be more than happy to take it somewhere that values...
