Refueler Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Bangor

If a bar is open until 5pm, food and drinks are typically served until 5pm. We walked in at 4:30, and were told the kitchen is closing in two minutes, so we can either order quickly or eat next door. The bartender performed all of her closing duties by 4:45, at which time she announced last call. She almost took my husband’s food out from under his hands because she was so eager to close up early. We felt rushed. This is not how the Refueler used to be....

The older lady that’s a bartender there was incredibly rude. I’m 46 years old and she wouldn’t let me so much as sitdown at the bar with a friend because I didn’t have my ID on me, even though there was a little kid sitting right behind me with his dad. This is a cute little place but we were told repeatedly if we weren't drinking copious amounts of drinks we would have to leave and go next door. We are stuck in this airport for 2 hrs due to delayed luggage and we wanted to casually drink and watch the game. The place is empty. But they want the chairs for future patrons that might show up! Lol tip...
