We've lived in the Barberton area for a little over a year now and have tried every other breakfast option there is. Somehow we missed this place until just a couple weekends ago, and it's literally walking distance from our home.
If you're looking for a delicious breakfast option with great staff and a family atmosphere this is it. Their sausage gravy is excellent, eggs cooked just right, but my goodness their hash browns make me hungry just thinking about them. Perfect portion, fried crispy on both sides, yet tender and buttery on the inside. I mix them with a little of the gravy and ketchup. Maybe not your thing, but I love it. Goodness!
The best part though, it's consistent. We've been back probably half a dozen times now and it's been the same each and every time. Same excellent food cooked perfectly and same service with a smile and friendly conversation. That speaks to the leadership of the owners and their commitment to good food. Can't say this about many places these days, but I sure do look forward to breakfast on the...
Read moreFirst, I hardly ever write reviews. I may have written 5 total reviews in my life and only for the companies/ products that i really feel are deserving. This place is one of them! Exceptional food, atmosphere and service! I cannot speak highly enough about this gem of a place.
My wife and I went there last Sunday and were greeted with warm welcome. The staff gave us some recommendations since it was our first time and even gave us each a complimentary piece of Balaclava. We each ordered an omelette and their Mystic Potatoes. The omelettes were cooked to perfection: light and fluffy with the perfect thickness and ratio of egg to filling. But the Mystic Potatoes stole the show. These are a MUST if you visit!
But maybe even more impressive than this delicious food was the great staff and excellent service. My coffee was never less than half full and the staff was genuinely friendly. This is the type of place that you come back to over and over! I will...
Read moreWow what a nice spot. Me and the wife came in the other morning for the first time. We were not disappointed at all, we were greeted by a really nice waitress too our drink orders and was really patient with us as we looked over the menu. In the mean time Al came over and welcomed us again and went over the menu on what he would recommend. He even brought us probably the best baklava I've ever had. He went over the different egg Benny for my wife. I asked about the country fries steak as I love a good country fries steak and gravy. He told me they had the best and I was not disappointed. It's the first country fries steak I've had in a while that wasn't greasy. Also my favorite part is they don't cover your eggs in gravy like some other places. Al came to the table multiple times to check in and was really caring about his guest.
This place is a great place to try if your looking for a new breakfast spot. I promise you won't be...
