Food - Unfortunately we didn't get to try any of their food, but they have a great assortment to choose from like muffins and macarons!
Their coffee on the other hand, we got to try several of their drinks:
Espresso - Smooth. Bold. Not burnt and not gritty bits to ruin your shot. The flavor of the espresso was delicious, nothing to sour the tastebuds.
Black Coffee - A coffee shop should be able to sell you a black coffee, no additives, no sugars, no flavors to be able to get you to come back...and that's what Anna Bean did. The coffee was heady with a thick flavor profile that warmed you up. Not burnt, not sour. Just a nice cup of coffee.
Pumpkin Roll - The moment I took a sip, it was like it was that moment the food critic was transported to his childhood, yet instead I was transported to one of those home town, roadside antique shops. The ones who are best to visit in the fall for their Halloween and Fall primitive decorations. It tasted like the scents you'd smell in those places, just warm, pumpkin and sweetness of a fall day browsing with your loved ones.
Service - The employees working behind the counter were beyond the best. Friendly. Informative. Genuinely nice. You know those places you go into and you can tell they're putting on a fake kindness? This isn't that place. Genuinely sweet employees who were quick to hold a conversation with you and make you feel welcomed. By far one of the best parts of this place!
Ambiance - The theme of the shop was synonymous with the Train station it's located in with a nice touch of modern minimalism and antique accents. It felt vibrant, fresh and still respectful to where it's history came from and where they were going.
By far the best coffee shop around Norton/Barberton area. Skip the mainstream coffee shops, come...
Read moreI try to support local businesses as much as possible. This was my 4th time here, every single time has been horrible. The first 2 times, completely understood because it was new. However the last 2 times they were extremely disorganized & it took forever to get our order even though there was no one there. Today was my last straw. I ordered a 24oz iced mocha, it was 80% ice. The lady at the window took my card and I’m hoping left it in the machine while she walked away to get “receipt paper”, I never saw her refill the machine. She had my card the whole time so I couldn’t leave, I was stuck waiting for her to come back. There was no one else inside the building and there had not been anyone infront of me so there’s no reason her co-worker couldn’t get the receipt paper (I was never even given a receipt). I can go to Dunking and get a bigger drink for less and the wait time, even with a line isn’t even that long. Every time we had been prior to today, it was the same issue with the wait time except the other times we had to repeat our order at the window then wait for them to make the drinks, which seemed to take way longer than necessary. The managers/owners need to sit down with their employees and explain how to...
Read moreFirst visit here. Was a little nervous with ordering because the menu has very many options which isn't a bad thing! I tried to use the kiosk but had a question regarding how to remove the whipped cream from the thin mint drink because I personally hate whipped cream. It wasn't an option to remove on the kiosk so I ordered up front. No biggie, the cashier was really nice and put a note to have no whip on the one drink. Few minutes later my drink was made with the whipped cream on it that I stressed about from the jump. The cashier realized and happily remade the drink. Neither of the drinks had the chocolate drizzle as noted in the picture and overall a very uncomfortable experience. At $7 a drink with a 20% tip I expected the drink to AT LEAST look like the picture. I personally would recommend kitchen slips that could be printed with customizations or the option to see what comes on the drink when using the kiosk and the options to remove toppings that are standard in the build. Cannot say I was impressed on my first visit because I had really high hopes after seeing all the good facebook/tiktok...
