Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Barceloneta

Stopped in for dinner they sat us in an area with no A/C it was extremely hot and humid. We ask if we could be seated in the area that the a/c was operating but the manager closed that area due to not having staff for that area. Holy cow seriously how about closing the area with no A/C and open the area with A/C then take that same staff and utilize them there. I know this can be extremely hard to compute as the manager obviously needs training. After 10-12 min of sweating we decided to leave the staff was using the menu’s as fans to keep themselves cool. What’s wrong with this picture. Everyone looked miserable due to the unbearable conditions. What a joke you really think that’s ok. Well it’s not ok shame on you and staff. Every time I ordered out, they get the order all wrong and what is so funny, is they repeat it to you."You want this and that and so fourth." It's awful. Now the food comes burnt to top it off. They also have the audacity to ask you for a tip. Are you serious. It's different when you actually go there to eat, it's a whole different ball game. The food is cooked, or should I say reheated properly because I do not think they actually cook the food, but they treat you and serve you the way it's meant and of course you give them a tip But to spend so much money on food that is not like you get when you're there personally is appalling. Ive gone to this Olive Garden in Barceloneta with my family many times and have had the best time! The food was delicious but the service was even better. But today the general manager Marina Flores went above and beyond when she brought an appetizer for my friend who was eating there and I wanted to send it as a surprise. She really went above and beyond by writing a hand written card to go with it! I didn’t even ask her to do that but it was the cherry on top of the cake! She truly made me feel welcomed and looked after. The manager Marina Flores was very friendly and provided excellent service as well. I look forward to coming to this Olive Garden...
