Bardstown Burger Drive Thru — Restaurant in Bardstown

Should so be named "Mediocre Burger." My partner and I ate here for our very first and only time after several people bragged about this place to us. We went through the drive-thru location on Old Bloomfield Rd.

I ordered a cheeseburger and asked for mushrooms on it, but was given onions instead. My boyfriend found what he thought might be a piece of plastic in his burger when we got home.

Overall, the taste (or lack thereof) was incredibly disappointing. I have had much better tasting burgers from various fast food chains.

And I guess whenever you order a side of fries with your burger, that means give you no more than 10 fries total per person. They are literally Great Value crinkle cut fries with a little bit of salt, pepper and maybe another seasoning on them. Nothing to call home about.

$23 and change for two single patty, tasteless burgers with a few dressings on each of them and 10 fries and a half flat...

Actually confused on why so many people recommend this place. $34 for two mediocre meals and two milkshakes. Milkshakes tasted like nothing. Think my chocolate is just vanilla with maybe some kind of chocolate powder added in. No flavor. My son's chicken rings and fries. Hah. 14.89 for that alone I should have just agreed to McDonald's when he originally asked. The onions on the burger that I paid an extra dollar for. Tasted like they were sauteed in. Nothing but Worcestershire sauce. Not appetizing. Took them off before eating the burger which honestly tastes like a burger that was made with stuff to make the meat stretch out more. If you want a good burger in Bardstown got to Marcellas....

Location is good. Vibe is decent, and outdoor patio is nice. I went for lunch one day with one of my employees, very excited to try it because everyone spoke highly of the restaurant in town. To my disappointment I bit into my burger and almost gagged. A piece of hard melted plastic was on top of my burger patty instead of cheese. I took a piece of plastic out of my mouth and threw it on my plate, only to see more on the patty. At that point I was done and had to leave the restuarant.
