My wife and I went for the buffet but it seemed more like a subpar taco bar. The only desert was prepackaged ice cream. It would have been nice to have flan or even churros, or a fruit empanada as an option. There were no sides really. There were refried beans but no regular black beans. There was rice available. There were many meat options but all butone, maybe two had both peppers and onions so you better like both. The hamburger didn't have much if any flavor and was mush from soaking in the fluids. The only fresh vegetable options were lettuce and tomatoes. No onions, cilantro, corn/corn salsa, guacamole, etc. I felt like it needed much more for a buffet. Other things it could have had as options that would have made it feel more like a buffet, that I had not already mentioned would include Mexican Street corn, chili renos or whatever they are called, lime, Mexican choloate sauce (for the churros), tortilla soup or some other soup option, olives, Spanish rice, avocado, etc. However, they did have on there white cheese sauce so that was nice. Honestly, I didn't even eat three tacos, so not worth the money or a drive...
Read moreOur first experience was awesome. This time was absolutely horrible. I understand restaurants being busy during dinner time but to be waiting for 20 mins and the same number of people (2) as in your party comes in after you and gets seated right away is another story. Waited another half hour after being seated before a waiter came to the table. Margarita was nothing but syrup and ice. Brought the wrong food to the table and left rice. Spoke to the manager after the waiter brought the wrong food and left 2 plates of rice. Manager said how sorry he was and offered discount to make up for the almost an hour and a half wait from hell after watchin others enjoy their food. So I start eating the rice because to be honest I was starving. Manager brings me a refill finally the food comes go to take a bite of my tamale and my fiancé notices a hair literally an 8th of an inch away from the last bite of rice I took. Needless to say you lost customers who looked forward to...

Our server was the owner who was a super nice and down-to-earth guy.
The chips and salsa were fresh. We were served a carafe of salsa and individual bowls for our salsas which I though was a great idea.
The food was delicious!
The sides were portioned correctly instead of being served as an almost garnish like most other places.
