Dolce Bagel & Cafe — Restaurant in Barnegat Township

The bagels should be baked all the way through. I shouldn't get home, cut into a half-moist and doughy bagel, and have to finish the baking myself. Also, bagels are round, not oblong, but I'm guessing they get squished that way when you pile up a bunch of half-baked bagels.

I know I might look tired in the morning, but that's okay because I'm the customer. It's NOT okay for food service workers to be all stone-faced and mute when taking orders and handing over food. You get decent treatment sometimes, but it's certainly not the norm here. I really don't understand the sad-sack service, though... My only guess is that it's all family-run and no one wants to be there.

Luckily, I found Danny's Bayshore Bagels. They're solid all around, and I don't leave there feeling like I did...

Moldy Pastries, and when I went to get my money back I was threatened by the owner. I immediately filed a police report. The inside of these pastries had green and white as well as black mold in them. How long have they been sitting there festering before I bought them. Worst of all is that my infant daughter ate a bite of the pastry before I saw the inside. Mistakes happen in every business and I could have gotten past this if they would have just apologized and gave me a refund, but instead the owner said he would "Give me a beating" if I just didn't leave and shut my mouth. Used to order from here at least 2-3 times a week. I won't order from there anymore though since about half of my last 10 orders were completely wrong. What is worse is the last time I was in here and the order was clearly wrong (the counter girl handed me a sub when I ordered a wrap) , I told the employee the order was wrong and she still continued to ring me up as if she was hoping I would just forget that the order was incorrect. When it first opened the I feel the counter girls were much more attentive and the orders were always right outside of the occasional mistake. Now, like i said above, it's like flipping a coin. When I order food, I pay for exactly what I want. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill in my opinion and I will no longer...
