Be warned, when stopping at the Barnesville, Ohio DQ, the prices are very high for simple, traditional, fast food.
Prior to stopping on 07/14/19, we checked the prices online. The online menu shows a fish sandwich for $3.19 (for a limited time), small cones for $1.99, and small dipped cones for $2.39.
Thankfully, I requested my debit card receipt. The total cost seemed more than I had expected but there were customers in line behind us, and there is no way to pull into a parking spot once you get your food (you must pull directly onto an active state highway) so we didn’t pull over to check further. Instead, I waited to get home to determine how I was charged. Unfortunately, we had just glanced at the menu board since it was busy (my mistake) and we thought we had already determined the prices online, so I was unaware of the posted costs when ordering. Won't make that mistake again!
Once home, we realized no itemized receipt showing the cost per item was included. Since we appeared to have been overcharged, I called and asked the cost of each item to determine whether I had been overcharged.
We purchased two plain fish sandwiches (no combo, fries, or drinks) at $4.19 per and two small vanilla cones, one plain @ $1.99 and one dipped in chocolate @ $2.39 for a total charge of $12.86. Note: if you do the math, the total of the items I just listed comes to $12.76 so I cannot determine what the additional $0.10 was for.
In the end, we ended up paying $2.00 more for sandwiches than what was listed online. Plus their math was off by an additional $0.10 for some reason. So, we paid an additional $2.10 for two small sandwiches and two small cones. That’s an overage of 20%. If that had been a large order for an entire family, it could really hurt.
The portions are small, the prices exorbitant, and their math seems off.
Again, be warned, the cost is...

I ate there twice and twice I've gotten sick from the food. If you want food just go to A&W or some other restaurant in town. They should just stick to serving ice...
