I come to Barnesville every Thursday and was looking for a new place to eat at so my son and I decided to try it. The menu is very limited, mostly sandwiches. Would've been nice to see more options. I was a bit surprised the sandwiches didn't come with a side. A hamburger was $7.50 by itself, adding cheese added $1.25 (added onion and lettuce also but receipt shows it was free), then the waffle fries added $3. I'm not really sure why it doesn't come as a cheeseburger and if you don't want cheese, the custumer can say so. I think that's a bit steep to just add a slice of cheese. The burger was a decent size, but the fries were a small portion. My son liked it though. I'm on a new medication, so I have to watch what I eat. I really didn't want a salad or soup, neither sounded appealing. So I ordered a BLT. It seemed like a wiser choice than other things. It definitely needed more bacon, there really wasn't much on there. They only put one tomato on it when it really needed two. One tomato only covered half the sandwich. But it had plenty of lettuce. If I would've known, I would've asked for extra so it would at least fill me up. The BLT cost $9. It wasn't worth that at all. It was more in the range of $4, maybe $6.99 including a side. So a burger and fries and a BLT (we even ordered water) cost almost $23. In my opinion, the prices are too high for what the customer is getting. Including a side for the sandwiches would also be a good idea, in my opinion. Lastly, on the menu my son saw a chocolate lava cake of some sort and wanted to try it. But they didn't have it. They had many other desserts not listed on the menu. If they can't guarantee certain desserts from the menu, maybe they should make it more broad on the menu like "ask about our daily desserts", or something to that effect. Or have a dessert card with the available desserts on the table. Even their menu doesn't exactly align with Google. It was nice inside, just small tables and simple chairs. It would've been nice to hear some constant low music in the background cause it was very quiet, kind of an awkward silence the whole time unfortunately. Our server was nice and attentive so I did leave a tip for that. However, I don't think I'd come back due to how expensive it is for what you're getting. This is my honest review of...
Read moreScott whitacre and ms. Leah own and run this business and have absolutely been awesome to us. I swear their ultimate potato soup was round house kicked by chuck Norris lol, buts it's really good. His Reuben sandwich is to die for and will fill you up. You can not go wrong with the chicken and steak sliders, also has a really good hamburger along with a ton of other stuff. His waitresses/bartenders are top notch at what they do. They have large screens to watch what ever sporting game is on, can play YouTube music on the TVs, or theres a jukebox on the wall that can pretty much play what ever song you want , and there is also live music some nights and karaoke nights. Has table areas that can be put together for large parties or family and or you can belly...
