Kalmus beach provides a unique beach experience with a beach front facing Nantucket Sound which provides opportunities for wind surfing as well as swimming. There is also a beach front facing Lewis Bay that provides a calmer swimming experience. It is a wonderful spot to watch boat and ferry traffic entering and leaving Hyannis harbor. Both beaches are life guard protected. There are rest room and showers available. There is also a covered dining area and a snack bar catered by the renowned Wimpy's Restaurant. It is my beach of choice in the town...

The Kalmus Beach Snack Bar is a great quality concession stand located at Kalmus Beach.

In August of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for lunch at the Kalmus Beach Snack Bar, and we found our meals to be extraordinarily tasty and appetizing!!!

I ordered and enjoyed a delicious burger with fries while my wife loved her chicken sandwich with fries!!!

If you want to have a delicious meal at a beach side restaurant, then definitely visit and dine at the Kalmus Beach...

A gorgeous beach! Soft sand and gentle waves, at least when we visited. There are plenty of shells and good places to sit or swim. There's a small building at the southeast corner of the beach that has bathrooms and offers standard Cape Cod fare (seafood, fries, etc) - we didn't try eating there so I can't speak to how it is. The free Hyannis Trolley stops just to the north so it's easy to get here...
