My family and I visited your establishment, as we have done frequently for many years. There were ten of us in our party, including young children. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience for what was supposed to be a nice family ice cream night. My sister n law ordered ice cream with peanut butter, which had very little topping. She requested more peanut butter and was refused, even after offering to pay for the extra topping. She was advised they're not allowed. I then spoke to the same person (a short teenage girl with short dark hair) and asked if we could just, please get some more topping, honestly thinking it would be no big deal. She quickly said no, in a short and rude tone. I commented that our family had just spent a fair amount of money for 10 people and simply want a little extra topping, considering there was barely any on the ice cream. I was baffled why this was such an issue and couldn't not understand why we were being refused. The girl advised that she'd be fired by the owner if she gave us the extra topping and with much sarcasm added "I'm not going to get fired over giving you peanut butter", then she literally slammed the window shut in my face, while I was still talking. My response was to blurt out "do not slam the window in my face you little witch" and I walked away. She then opened the window and told my entire family to get off the property or they would call the police to have us removed. We chose to stay at the picnic tables to finish our ice cream and left approximately 15 minutes later. I then called to speak with or leave a message for the owner. The male teenage worker Tristan answered the phone and advised I was talking to the owner. He proceeded to say to me "oh you're the one who just left here, who wants to complain about not getting any peanut butter", his tone was clearly in a mockery manner and as if to make fun of me. He continued to state he was the owner, so the call was ended (a google search confirmed, he is not the new owner). In addition to the extremely rude treatment I received, my family (including children) did as well and should not have, especially with not having anything to do with it. I am still blown away to have experienced such rudeness and still trying to wrap my head around this whole situation. The children (under 10 yrs old) in my party should never have been told to leave and threatened to have the police remove us. I should have never had a window slammed in my face, so hard that others standing by the mini course even heard it. While I do acknowledge and accept that my response of referring to the worker as a "little witch" may have been a bit much, I also stand firm that this experience was extremely poor customer service. I can say with all confidence that the previous owners, Steve and Sue would have never allowed such behavior by their employees, as they took much pride in their business. Hopefully, the new ownership with fix this situation with some basic 101 customer service training for...
Read moreWOW! I've been going to this place for over 35 years and I worked on the construction of the mini-golf course back in '87 or so. Never have I ever been treated so badly. On May 31, 2023, I brought 10 of my family members including little kids, for food and ice cream. The girl with long light brown hair waited on us and did a good job keeping up with our order. My wife thought that her ice cream could have used a little more peanut butter topping than what was on it so she asked the pale skinned girl with dark hair if she could add a little more peanut butter topping to her ice cream. She was told no, the girl said that is what you get. My wife offered to pay for more topping and the girl still refused, saying "we don't sell topping on the side". My wife was shocked and came back and told the rest of us what happened. My sister found that to be rude and unacceptable so she went and asked again. The pale skinned girl yelled at her saying "I already told the other girl no" and then slammed the glass window shut right in her face. While this happened, the rest of the family was eating our ice cream at the picinic table and could here the window slam. After yelling at my sister the girl stuck her head out from behind the mini-golf counter and told my sister she had to leave and then proceeded to tell all of us that we had to leave or she was going to call the police to have us removed. The little kids with us were upset and didn't know what was happening. This girl was seriously rude. After leaving, my sister called and asked to leave a message for the owner. A tall skinny kid who was also working answered the phone and said his name was Tristan. When she said she wanted to leave a message for the owner, he claimed to be the owner and mockingly said to her "do you want to complain about not getting enough peanut butter topping?" Terrible customer service on this night. These 2 kids need some guidance! This is 1 of 5 bad reviews that are being written by our family. Hopefully, if the owner cares, he will respond to this review with an apology for his crew members and I'll consider...
Read moreHorrible customer service! My family and I have been coming here for years and I was disgusted with the way that some of the employees act towards my family tonight. A group of 10 of us including young children stopped in tonight for some icecream after a school function. My mother's icecream barely had any topping on it so she went up to the window and kindly asked for more topping and even offered to pay for some extra topping on the side. They refused to give her anymore. After she came and sat back down to finish her icecream her sister in law, assuming there must have been some misunderstanding that a paying customer could not just pay for extra topping on the side, went back up to the window to see if she could possibly get some extra topping for the icecream. The young girl at the counter then slammed the window in her face, which made everyone including the people playing minigolf and enjoying their icecream turn around and look to see what just happened. Then she proceded to yell from the minigolf counter that our whole party of adults and young children needed to leave the premises or she would call the police. This was very upsetting to the children in the group who had no idea what was going on. This girl was extremely rude and unprofessional and clearly has no training with working with the general public. As I previously said we have been going here for many many years but after this interaction with the staff I highly doubt we will return. Hopefully the owner can offer some training to the staff so further instances such as this one will not occur and cause them to lose any...
