I just returned from having a family get together there for my sister. I realized and anticipated there would be a wait, but when I called ahead about the wait time, I was told 15 to 20 minutes. We arrived at 6, and weren't seated until 7:40, then had to wait until 8:45 to get our food. This wouldn't surprise me at a doctor's office, but I don't expect that from an eating establishment. My understanding of the problem is they serve take-out phoned-in orders before taking care of the customers who actually travel to patronize their establishment and buy their liquor. Therefore food orders were backed up an hour. I do not blame the waitstaff or the food preparation employees, this is a management problem. They need to develop and implement a system where take-out and dine-in orders are handled simultaneously, so on Friday night you call in an order, you will be given a wait time so that people who are eating in their restaurant are not forced to wait hours for seating and service. They are doing a disservice to their waitstaff as well, as I am sure their tips suffer from dissatisfied customers, even though those people are doing their best. It saddens me, because I truly enjoyed their food, but am not sure if I will ever patronize their business again. If this was a high end restaurant in NYC, I would kind of expect this, but never thought I would experience anything like this at a...
Read moreUgh! So not great tonight. Daughters chicken was good, but my husbands brisket was super dry and my burger came out med rare when asked for well done. I asked for condiments on the side and everything was on the burger. We got there at 5pm and had a 25 min wait which is fine when the food and service are good - which it wasn’t. Food was super slow coming out of the kitchen. Server was nice but you should never have a waitress also serve as hostess on a busy Sat night. You get forgotten and it takes forever to get service when you need it because she’s busy greeting people and answering questions about the wait, etc. She did put a request in for another burger but if she asked for a rush on it they didn’t oblige. Waited just as long for it as the first one. By the time I got the replacement burger everyone else was done eating. That in itself kills the whole mood. The second burger came out well done but the bun was so saturated in butter it fell apart immediately because it was so soggy. The first one was nicely toasted so I know it’s not supposed to be like that! I told her but no offer to speak with the manager and nothing was done to...
Read moreThe first time there I had the french dip sandwich which was amazing. The second time there I had the chicken tenders. Very disappointed, chicken tenders not what I expected at all. They were very small portion, especially compared to the rest of the Menu. The chicken fingers and chicken tenders absolutely need some work. They are only actually about as big as one of my fingers. Well I guess the bottom line is they can't do chicken. It doesn't matter if you get chicken fingers. Or chicken tunders, they're not enough to feed an 8-year-old child. I thought I would try the boneless wings. Unfortunately. I tried. What should have been? Buffalo wings. And it wasn't Buffalo sauce at all. It was just a bottle of Frank's red hot sauce and that's just exactly what it tasted like I was eating. There was so much Frank's red hot. I might as well have been drinking the Sauce straight from the bottle. I don't like to complain and send food back when I'm with friends or family. So I ended up bringing them home and just throwing them away. They were so bad, so if you want good wings, I guess you'll have to go too. Wings...
