The summary: I would go again, but only if someone was paying for me. I would not take someone here nor recommend it to others. I went here with my parents for dinner. It's a pretty small place, but it has a nice cozy feel. It's homey as well, with a casual feel to it. The staff were all very pleasant and the menu, while not expansive, was well rounded. As an appetizer I ordered their easy muscles in scampi sauce. The muscles themselves were quite fresh and tasty, though I was less enthused with the sauce itself. The salad bar was well maintained and had fresh ingredients, but their homemade italian was more oil than anything else. For dinner I had one of their pork milanese(sp?), my mother had their fettucine alfredo with shrimp, and my father had Eve's Chicken. My father stated his dish was "good" and left it at that. My mother was disappointed in her dish, saying "the shrimp were tiny... the fettucine was undercooked (for my taste), and the sauce was out of a jar". I, for my part, was not a fan of my dish. The pork was cooked very well but the breading was unflavored, it seemed. Having a squeeze of lemon on top was not enough to make it interesting to my taste buds. The pasta with red sauce I got as my side was similarly bland, though the carrots for my vegetable were quite tasty. This all being said, the bill totaled $89.00 for the three of us and my one dessert. The price, coupled with the well-made but incredibly boring dishes is why I only gave it three stars.

Well we haven’t been here since before Covid. And they sold it — to a cousin, some of the old details are gone. Along with the specials bulletin board, the salad bar, and the cute green and white table covers. Which was unexpected. I have to say , it was not what everyone was saying on reviews. A little disappointing, not as fantastic as before. The other waitress back then was personally plus. Although the soup was really good the chicken parm wasn’t like before, it was just ok. Salad was boring and skimpy on a big plate .Cheesecake is homemade and has a strong lemon flavor. We made a reservation as I called and she said it was necessary. Wednesday night and there were only 3 tables the whole time we were there. That’s including us. Would love to give it more stars however it was so disappointing.

It looks like a simple place, but it's anything but. The chicken francaise was the best chicken with pasta dish I ever had. Even their salad was well-presented, and the housemade ranch dressing was just as yummy as the waitress suggested. The French onion soup was tasty as well as the fried calamari. Their wine was delicious. Staff was friendly. And I loved the seating options. You could sit in a booth or a table. We sat by the fireplace. I love how homey yet put together the place is. I'd recommend to anyone who needs a good spot to eat!

Went last night during our stay in the area. Small but quaint restaurant. I recommend calling ahead and reserving a table because it fills quickly. We wanted to order their namesake "Blooming Onion" But it wasn't available because of supply problems due to everything going on in the world today. But I'm sure if they had it, it would've been good... just going by the quality of the rest of our meal. I went for something I've never had before, the Jaeger schnitzel. Now, I'll be totally honest. I wish I could've taken a hundred plates of that home with me. It was the most tender and flavorful meat I've ever had along with that gravy and would make the two hour drive again just for that!!!! The homemade noodles that were served with it were amazing as well and served with fresh well prepared and not overcooked green beans. Also took a pizza to go for the kids and that was very good as well! Service and prices were spot on. For the caliber of food and portion sizes it...

I've experienced the cuisine twice as a sit down meal. The veal I had was unedible and my dates chicken dish was completely swimming in marinara sauce. We decided to give them another chance and this time ordering a pot pie that looked and tasted like luke warm Campbell's veggie soup without the chicken and also tried a stuffed shell dish that tasted horrible and like rubber. I did get to try a slice of pizza that was good and their appetizers are alright as well as the sallad bar. I would stay away from the soups unless it's french onion or chicken noodle. Overall I would rate 2 stars because for the price they charge the food is seriously lacking. I'm not sure on how the takeout food is but it is much more affordable and probably a better option. I have heard that the steaks and the Italian sausage dishes were very good. If they shrunk the menu some and worked on quality I think they would be...
