Pit Stop Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Barstow

My wife, and I visited this place for my birthday. As we walked in we were stared at by everyone. The lady behind the bar approached us to ask what we were having. I asked her what she recommended to drink. Her reply was a Budweiser Zero (Non Alcoholic beer) I laughed it off, and my wife ordered 2 waters. She heads back to the bar to get the water, then decides to MOP the floor while filling up the cups. She returned to our seats with the water, and asked what we wanted to eat. We weren't sure yet being that we'd never been there before. She showed her displeasure for us not being ready, mumbled something, and walked away. My wife, and I knew then that we had walked into the wrong establishment. We have friends in Barstow, and informed them that this place is not for everyone. We were looking forward to Drinks, pool, and good food, but in turn we received sarcasm, rudeness,...

I had a frustrating experience at this bar that I feel compelled to share. During our visit, we ordered a single drink and were enjoying ourselves in the back, chatting and laughing. After stepping outside for a smoke, we returned to order another drink, only to be told that we were cut off. This decision seemed entirely unjustified, as we hadn’t done anything to warrant such treatment.

As out-of-state visitors seeking to enjoy time with family, we were left confused and disappointed. While The Pit Stop is typically a fantastic establishment with many wonderful staff members, this particular individual’s behavior was disheartening. It's essential for management to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and with respect. A little training in customer service could go a long way. Here's my honest review

This place is great I walked in to a nice family friendly bar, they had pool, tons of TV's, a nice bar

Food: I ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich, very very good nicely seasoned pork, the bread was nicely toasted, the sauce was great and they give a generous amount of meat, I also had the Loaded Tots which are freshly fried tater tots topped with cheese and bacon very good

Service: was amazing as well we was seated by a very nice Lady named Kelly she took really good care of us, as we we're eating her shift ended and she said bye and chatted with all of the customers before she left she's very sweet

Overall: I highly recommend them if your looking for a good cozy bar with great food, prices arent bad at all with meals being within the $15 range, very nicely staffed,...
