Starbucks — Restaurant in Batesburg-Leesville

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this location was frustrating enough to warrant one. I ordered the exact same coffee drink I always get—something I’m very familiar with, especially as a former Starbucks employee. Despite that, the barista at the window insisted I had ordered it wrong and spoke to me in a very condescending and dismissive manner. Instead of clarifying or kindly explaining if there was confusion, she came to the window visibly irritated and acted like I was the problem. Her tone was rude and unprofessional, which made the entire interaction uncomfortable. To make things worse, I asked for a straw and some napkins, and she ignored the request completely, didn’t even acknowledge it. Starbucks is known for consistent customer service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far below that standard. I’ve recently been enjoying their salted Carmel cold foam however I can not have milk so I only ask for VERY VERY VERY LIGHT everytime. At first this was perfect and there were no issues, they only added a very thin layer just to cover the top. Then staff changed and now I’m greeted with rude shortness and aggravation when I ask, as well as the normal amount of cold foam in my drink. I’m not sure why they have such a problem with me ordering less since I’m still paying full price for cold foam added on my drink. Had my first disappointment this morning since they opened! I ordered a caffe Misto take a sip and noticed it tasted different,takes off the top and its a hott cup of foam milk! 😡. I goes all the way back to Starbucks this time walks in with the cup of disappointment and obviously they knew what happened so the black girl walked over and said I wasn't the one who mad this looking very sorry this happened while the two young girls just walked away laughing and smiling like nothing happened!
