Taco Bell — Restaurant in Batesburg-Leesville

Where do I begin I am so frustrated right now at the moment I literally had to pray to calm myself down. OK March 2 of 2025 me and my husband had been gone to New Orleans for a week for him to do a class decided to go ahead and come home late Saturday drove straight through. Got home Sunday rested up for a few hours. Didn’t feel like cooking supper got hungry so my husband said well let’s go to Taco Bell. I really don’t like to go to Taco Bell down in Batesburg South Carolina the other couple of times that me or him have went the food just is not good and the Service is always Bad! But it’s been about five months since we’ve ate at that Taco Bell so we figured they’ve changed and you know got on track with how things should be going, but it most definitely will be my last I will never ever spend mine or my husband‘s hard earned money at that Taco Bell in Batesburg, South Carolina ever again if I was starving, I wouldn’t even spend my money there. So here we go we get to the drive-through we order our food wasn’t but one car ahead of us wasn’t too busy. We order our food. She tells us to pull up to the window. We sit there and wait and wait 10 minutes goes by my husband. You know he’s getting a little antsy because we’re still tired guys so I looked at him and said just wait a minute and Give them a few more minutes 10 more minutes goes by Still no food ! so my husband looked at me He said I’m about to drive off is what I’m about to do then about that time we seen a Lady so we thought she was gonna open up the window and say something to us you know let us know what was going on with our order she didn’t. She walked back away to the back so we couldn’t see her and Another 10 more minutes goes by it’s 30 minutes and about that Time my husband went to knock on the window and here comes a lady with the bag so he gets the food. He glances in the bag you know, but he didn’t pull everything out. We get all the way home. They did not have my order in there at all, but they did give my husband my tea. so I did not get to eat supper. My husband offered his food to me, but I was not taking my husband‘s food and by this point, I’m just tired still frustrated and I was ready to go to bed That being said I tried to call up there a couple of times today march 3 didn’t get no one to answer the phone. Well I said I’m gonna try one more time and finally, a lady answers the phone I said may I speak to a manager she said I am the manager and I asked her very politely. May I have your name? My name is Tiffany. She told me she didn’t have to give me her name and I said once again, politely ma’am, can I have your name if you are a manager you are supposed to give me your name I’m not calling up here fussing cousin or being rude or disrespectful But you are being rude and disrespectful. So by this time she still don’t know why I’m even calling so I finally had enough and I said first of all you’re not a manager I know you’re not a manager because I recognize your voice and I know people might think I’m crazy about that, but I did recognize her voice and once I called her out on it, I said you’re the young lady that helped me months back and you always have a snotty attitude if you don’t like where you are working at quit your job and go find another job if you’re that miserable, but at the end of the day, she didn’t ask me what I was calling for all she was doing, was getting an attitude and cussing at me and I cussed right back at her and she hung the phone up on me again I’m done with it. I will be calling corporate. I want my money because I didn’t get my food and they’re not gonna keep my money, but I will not go back to Taco Bell in Batesburg ever again at the end of the day, I could not believe how many bad reviews that store has got. Arrived last night to get some food. Cars in the parking lot and whole place was lit up. I waited at the drive through to place my order and then kept waiting and waiting and waiting. No one ever showed up. Based on the reviews of this particular Taco bell I strongly urge the owner to get a whole new staff and let these sorry employees go beg for money on the streets since they obviously aren't working and don't seem to value any sort of work ethics or people skills required to effectively do their job.

May 26, 2023 I want to update that I tried this Taco Bell location again at 10:00 I went to the drive through and got nothing so I pulled around and tried both doors and they were locked even though there was a customer inside getting food. This customer comes out and closes the door and the doors remained locked. I pull around to the drive through again and even call and nothing. I just want to add the customer inside was black and I am white. Is this a race thing? I’m really confused. We pulled to the drive through window and waited. Finally a lady peeked around and she knew we saw her so she came up to the window with a cup chewing on something and asking what we wanted. I said we would like to order. We went in for a quick dinner the other night and waited over 30 minutes for our food to come out. My husband had to go up and ask where our food was and the "manager" stated, she was busy training someone. He waited at the counter another 5 minutes and when the food came out, the order was wrong. My husband asked where our item was, the "manager" stated we had already gotten it. When my husband told her that we didn't, she turned her back on him and walked back to the line. She then commenced to laughing and loudly mocking him in front of her employees. All while he's standing there ! Another person in the dining room who had been waiting just as long, went up to the counter and asked for an update on their food and was yelled at by the same woman and was told they'd be addressed in a minute. Around that time, people she obviously knew came in and she stopped making food and walked to the front counter to cut up with her friend. The "manager" was just so rude and disrespectful. If all of that wasn't bad enough, they were playing trap music in the kitchen area loud enough that you could hear it in the dining room. I can't tell you how disgusting it is to be eating with your family and have to hear the N word, F word over and over. Overall, I give this Taco He!! a 0 out of 10. Do...
