Pretty annoyed this morning. Starbucks is Starbucks everyday, but the workers are who make or break a location. This morning I showed up and had left my mask 5 minutes walk back in my truck. The girl behind the counter told me she couldn't take my order without a mask and she couldn't give me one, or had one to give me. I can't remember which. So I went and grabbed a few napkins to use as a makeshift mask to get my order taken and she refused to serve me still and said that was not a mask and I needed to have a mask to get my order taken. I was appalled that this was such an ordeal. So I stepped outside and pulled off my jacket and wrapped it around my face. When I came back in and she scoffed at me after the people in front of me finished ordering. Then continued to walk back and forth (working on other orders) practically ignoring me at the ordering register. Her co-worker walked over and reached under the counter and pulled out a handful of masks and proceeded to hand me one. Read moreI usually don’t go to this starbucks location because it doesn’t have a drive thru but i placed a mobile order the other day and it said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I drove over there and waited in the store. To my surprise there were about 20 other customers also waiting on mobile orders. The line to order at the store was only about 5 people but they were getting their orders almost immediately after ordering. The mobile orders, however, took 30 minutes. I asked the lady at the counter to check on my order and she said they were 30-40 mobile orders behind…. Everyone who placed a mobile order had to wait 30-40 minutes to get their order. I wish the app would have had the updated estimated time because I would definitely not have waited 30 minutes if I knew they were so behind. Also, seeing other people place orders at the counter and receiving them almost immediately rubbed me the wrong way. Read moreI had a disrespectful experience before I even stepped foot into the store. I arrived to the door at 6:38 and it was locked. The door and the internet both stated that the store opens at 6am so I was very confused. I looked inside and two workers saw me and went back to whatever they were doing. Still confused I stood there thinking maybe they just forgot to unlock the door. One of the workers looked at me AGAIN and still ignored me. I understand that stores sometimes choose to open later than usual, I get that; however, there was no sign stating that and the workers left me confused and cold and disappointed outside. I still don't know what the situation was but I will continue to take my business and coffee...
